1. 11:45am-11:50am welcome, settle in

2. 11:50am-12pm treble clef review. Write FACE, Find middle C (the C below the staff), write DEAD,
ACE. And a quick review on HOW to draw quarter, half, and whole notes.
3. 12pm-12:15pm Bass clef review.
a. teach ACEG and GBDFA. We will spell DEAD using quarter notes, ACE using half notes,
CABBAGE together using whole notes.
b. Going ascending is alphabetical, going descending is reverse alphabetical.
4. 12:15pm-12:30pm Rhythm counting and Dahhing and hissing.
a. Rhythm packet continue.
b. Essential Elements rhythms:

i. First half of the class hisses/dahhs

ii. Second half of the class counts.
iii. Switch roles.
iv. Then everyone hisses/dahhs

5. 12:30pm-1:07pm Bootcamp and playing.

a. First, explain bootcamp and the importance of finishing bootcamp before starting to
play as an ensemble.
b. Have students that don’t have books yet….get their books!
c. Everyone else continue bootcamp.

Next week, we should be able to play together as an ensemble , depending on whether everyone
finishes bootcamp. Remember, we are only as strong as our weakest link, and everything we do, we do
together. As always, please wash your hands and stay safe and wear a mask so that you will not have to
quarantine.
