Sequence:
1. First clap
2. Then hiss and finger
3. Then play.

Other pointers:

1. Always monitor whether students set up their instrument correctly or not.


2. Check whether students are pushing the right buttons
3. Refresh the student’s memory what a measure is.

Clean up: students MUST put away their instrument properly. This is a personal hygiene and property
issue.

Homework:

Do number 1 and 2 by Sunday

Ensemble rules:
1. Do NOT talk while the instructor talks.
2. ALWAYS BE DOING SOMETHING and be productive. There will never be sitting around and doing
nothing.
3. ABSOLUTELY no phone usage allowed. I see it I warn you. I see it the second time, and it’s mine.
4. Come to rehearsal prepared. I promise you that the more you practice, the more you will have
fun.
