EPISODE 3 — FIRST HALF

Barb wakes up in an empty and dirty pool. She screams for Nancy and tries to escape but is dragged
down by something we can’t see. Joyce puts up Christmas lights around her home to talk to Will, who
apparently can turn them on and off. Hawkins Lab director, Dr. Brenner, allows Hopper to view the
lab’s security camera footage, but Hopper realizes it’s fake. After this, he and his deputies start to
investigate about possible scandals related to Brenner and Hawkins Lab.

Edward Snowden is an American computer professional and former

they destroy them and his camera. Nancy then recovers a photo of Barb by the poolside and returns to
Steve’s house to search for her. That’s when she sees the creature in the woods. Meanwhile, Joyce
establishes a code with Will using the lights and he tells her that he’s alive but unsafe. He tells Joyce
to run as the creature begins to climb through the wall. Hopper gets an urgent call to go to the town’s
quarry and there, Will’s apparent dead body is discovered.
