1. Which of the three (3) models present a favorable situation for the entrepreneur?

Explain your answer.

Van Duzer’s Model

The purpose of business is to participate in the work of advancing God’s kingdom by

creating meaningful work for people and offering goods and services that enable
communities to flourish. Profit is important, Van Duzer said; without it, no business can
survive. But profit is not an end. Instead, profit is merely how business is enabled to
pursue these broader ends. Business has a role to play in advancing God’s kingdom
agenda, and it does so in two keyways. One, it helps provide meaningful and creative
work for people to do, which is part of how people express their God-given identity.
Two, it produces goods and services that enable communities to flourish. Economic
capital is grown by business -- and almost business alone -- so all other institutions, in
one fashion or another, draw on the economic capital that business creates.

2. Which of the three (3) models promote sustainability? Explain your answer.

Naert’s Model

Naert, dean of the Antwerp Management School in Belgium, believes that value
creation is the purpose of business. Not only this approach led to an under emphasis on
other stakeholders within the organization, but that it frequently does not even maximize
return to the shareholder. While economic value and societal value historically have
been viewed in opposition to one another as part of a zero-sum game, Naert argues
that both can be pursued at the same time.

3. Which of the three (3) models promote an ethical culture in business? Explain
your answer.

Parikh;s Model

Parikh is involved in developing a model on Leadership "Self-Reflective Model of

Leadership Development". This model deals with the Life Space, Social Space and
Workspace of an individual in the context of culture, societal evolution and the
movement of workspace from Agrarian to Industrial and now Digital Society. It deals
with seven phases of life from the entry at workplace from the age of 21 to the post age
of 65. The research also focuses on women as their life phases and spaces are unique
and require special understanding. The research connects the five cosmic elements
with the emergence of a cosmic medium to large and from large to mammoth by
preparing their employees with relevant management and leadership roles and
responsibilities within a model of “Ardha Nareshwari” with all the possible and potential
elements of leadership dimensions for an individual.
