IN SPECIAL SUBJECT
➢ Internships play a pivotal role in preparing students for the business world. It is generally agreed that practical
experiential activities are necessary to give students first hand skill development and knowledge which they
cannot get within the confines of the classroom The classroom environment can and will never be able to provide
students with the complexities, problem analysis and solving involved in the real world . This will also polish me
as better performer for being future ready for the business world.
➢ By completing costing internship, I could possess variety of skills that will help me find a successful cost
accounting career. I would learn how invoicing is done, conduct profit analysis and work with payroll offices,
how cost is ascertained for particular product or service ,how inventory is controlled, how cost cutting is done
and many more skills can be acquired in costing as it is my special subject and this Programme will also help me
to gain confidence in my abilities, adaptability, social skills, critical thinking ,decision making, cost control etc.

❑ During FY B COM ,Our college conducted some certification courses among which one of the was Soft Skills
course under which I had a vast knowledge of skills required in today’s corporate world and how it helps us to
perform better outside with sheer confidence and presentation skills . in today’s business world such as writing
effective and accurate E-mails, business letters, develop interview skills, presentation skills, preparing for the
meeting and further on which really helped me as a student and gave a clarity on many topics which I was
unaware about .
❑ Additionally , I have also completed certification course in MS CIT and securities market and development. I
really look forward through this Internship Programme that these theoretically learned concepts I will be able to
put into practical and enhance my knowledge in a better way.

❑ I am working in ice-cream parlour as cashier since last 14 months.

❖ As I am working at ice crem shop as cashier since more than a year. Its very hard to find any
organization to do internship in this difficult time of covid. I cannot leve my current job
because my house run on this.
❖ Finally I decide that I will do my internship at the place where I am working . I told to owner
about the internship which is been assigned to us by SPPU University and gave him every
thorough details about it and he agree to give me internship . It will be interesting to learn from
the parson I am working from very long. He was ready to provide every details I required in
my subject and I hope I can achieve great knowledge of concerned subject and have a hand on
practical side of it as well. Cant wait to start my internship.
