Procedure and Registration form

1. Requirements
All e-learning assessments have to be completed in a controlled environment at the company office or
onboard a ship. A responsible person must be appointed (Master, approved Assessor, Training Officer)
who must verify that the assessment of each module is the unaided work of the individual candidate by
signing the “Verification of training”.

It is an absolute requirement from national maritime authorities and classification bodies (DNVGL, etc.)
that the final assessment of each e-learning module must be completed in a controlled environment and
verified by a responsible person.

Each Course has its own “Procedure and Workbook” that can be downloaded from our web,
www.seagull.no, or from STA Online “Learning resources” tab. The “Procedure and Workbook” must be
completed onboard a ship according to the procedure described in it.

The candidate must complete the e-learning modules belonging to the Onboard Course he/she is
attending. When the modules are completed a “Verification of training” must be printed for each (ref.
user guide). The minimum requirement is 95 % completed and 75% score on the Assessment.

When all prescribed training has been completed in accordance with the procedure for each course the
candidate must send all documentation to Seagull, obtraining@sgull.com, and we will evaluate and issue
a course certificate. The certificate and invoice will be sent to address entered on the registration form.

2. Registration and payment

In order to gain access to our e-learning modules, prepayment is required. For banking details and
payment procedures please send the registration form to obtraining@sgull.com
Payment is accepted in form of wire transfer as we are not set up for credit cards.

3. Online access period

The Online access will be open until Seagull issues the course diploma or maximum 6 months from date
of registration.
