HOW IT WORKS
HOW IT WORKS
African Leadership Institute is collaborating with organisations to educate
business enthusiasts of all levels. The organisations invites learners, 18 years of
age or older who are interested in expanding their business skills and knowledge
of building a successful business to enrol in the ALI Business Development
Scholarship program.

The students learning begins as soon as they complete their enrollment with
your organisation. Scholarship recipients will spend three (3 )weeks in the ALI
Business Development Course, studying vision and opportunities, people and
network, customers and competitors, business processes, managing finances,
and business funding. This course is intended to help business enthusiast get
started with building a successful business. When they successfully complete
the course, they will be awarded with a certificate of completion.

At the end of the ALI Business Learning Course, learners will take an
assessment which will be coordinated by your organisation from which top 20
students will be selected for a one month follow-up mentorship program which
has been designed by the African Leadership Institute.

Learners can study at their own schedule so long as

hours a day. We understand that learners have
different schedules and will work on their course at
different times and on different days. What’s
important is that learners make consistent
progress each and every week and get through all
the content before the end of the course.

assesment to the learners. The assessment should be
business oriented, online based and practical driven.

The top 20 learners from the assessment will have the


opportunity to continue their journey with us for the
Phase 2 of the program which is a month free
mentorship program by ALI.
THE SOCIAL EXPERIENCE
The social experience is an activity by the learners to create buzz on social
media about their learning experience.

Learners are expected to shared their daily learning experience on social


media. This should include what they've learnt and what action they are
taking. This activity should take place on twitter and facebook.

You could also promote your organisation through the social experience.
