Construction Regulation 9

CR. 9.(1) Every contractor must, before commencement of any construction work and
during construction work, have risk assessment performed by a competent person
appointed in writing, which risk assessment form part of health and safety plan
on site, and must include:

(a) the identification of the risks and hazards to which persons may be exposed to;
(b) the analysis and evaluation of the risks and hazards identified based on a
documented method;
(C) a documented plan and applicable safe work procedures to mitigate, reduce
or control the risk and hazards that have been identified.
(d) a monitoring plan; and
(e) a review plan.

4. Ensure employees are trained to know and understand the risks.
5. Ensure the Task Risk Assessments are updated in conjunction with the risk assessments .
