NARRATIVE REPORT ON TURNOVER CEREMONY OF BOOKS FROM DOLE KASILAK FOUNDATION

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 was busy day because there was a turn over ceremony of
books from Dole KASILAK foundation to the recipient schools. One of the recipient school was
Dakok Tamulon Integrated School. And being the nearest school, it hosted the program.
The program started at 10:05 in the morning. As usual it was opened by a prayer led by
Mrs. Rochel F. Garcia, teacher 1 of DTIS then followed by the singing of the National anthem
and the Sarangani hymn. The opening remarks was delivered by Mr. Jerwin Altarejos, one of
the school heads attended the ceremony. The introduction of the distinguished guest was
done by Mrs. Marilyn O. Falsario, our very own school principal and the most dynamic school
head of East District. Ma’am Falsario has a unique style of presenting the guest to the
audience. Instead of reading a very long and arduous biography she let the guest sing a song
with a lyrics contain the word sing or song. It was really funny because aside from being
surprised some of the guest were not really singers. So the audience laugh out loud and the
guests also laugh at his own performance.
The background of the KASILAK Foundation and statement of Purpose was delivered by
Ms. Ritchel Saratan , KASILAK Development Foundation of SARGEN.
The highlight of the program which is the Turnover Ceremony was done by Mr. Richard
OCON, SSG HR Head Dole Stanfilco,; Reynante Padios, LR/ GRGA- SARGEN Dole Stanfilco and
Aiza Alaman ,Focal PersonSocial Services Dole Stanfilco while the acceptance speech was done
by Ho. Edna T. Tuanzon, barangay captain of Nagpan and Mrs. Gloria P. Suderio, teacher 3 and
the Property Custodian of DTIS.
Mr. Adriano A. Daligdig, the Public Schools District Supervisor gave an inspirational
message then followed by the words of thanks of the head of the recipient schools namely Mr.
Roberto Diano, Mrs. Jesiel Mutya, Mr. George Rufila, Mrs. Edna Ambongan, Mr. Warren
Gabutero and Mrs. Marilyn O. Falsario. The program was closed by a closing prayer. Then DTIS
teachers served the lunch. That was the program went through. There was no dull moment
during the program indeed it was really a successful one.
