STEP 2- UNDER TABEL TOOLS CLICK THE DESIGN TAB

STEP 3- IN THE TABLE STYLES GROUP, REST THE POINTER OVER EACH TABLE STYLE UNTIL YOU FIND A
STYLE THAT YOU WANT TO USE
STEP 4-CLICK ON STYLE TO APPLY IT TO THE TABLE
Mail merging
STEP 1- IN A BLANK MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT, CLICK ON THE MAILING TAB AND IN THE START
MAIL MERGE GROUP,CLICK START MAIL MERGE

STEP 2 – CLICK STEP-BY-STEP MERGE WIZARD


STEP 3- SELCT YOUR DOCUMENTS TYPE. WE WILL SELECT LETTERS CLICK NEXT:STARTING DOCUMENTS

STEP4-SELECT THE STARTING DOCUMENTS, WE WILL USE THE CURRENT DOCUMENT. SELECT USE THE
CURRENT DOCUMENTS AND THEN CLICK NEXT: SELECT RECIPIENTS
STEP 5 –SELECT RECIPIENTS . WE WILL CREATE A NEW LIST , SO SELECT TYPE A NEW LIST AND THEN
CLICK CREATE
SAVE THE LIST

• NOTE THAT NOW THAT A LIST HAS BEEN CREATED,THE MAIL MERGE WIZARD REVERTS TO USE AN
EXISTING LIST AND YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO EDIT THE RECIPIENTS LIST

• SELECT EDIT RECIPIENTS LISTS OPRN UP THE MAIL MERGE RECIPIENTS DIALOG BOX ,WHERE YOU CAN
EDIT THE LIST AND SELECT OR UNSELECT RECORDS.CLICK OK TO ACCEPT THE LIST AS IT IS.
CLICK NEXT : WRITE YOUR LETTER STEP 6-WRITE THE LETTER AND ADD CUSTOM FIELDS

• CLICK ADDRESS BLOCK TO ADD THE RECIPIENTS ADDRESSES AT THE TOP OF THE DOCUMENTS

• IN THE INSERT ADDRESS BLOCK DIALOG BOX CHECK OR UNCHECK BOXES AND SELECT OPTIONS ON
THE LEST UNTIL THE ADDRESS APPEARS THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO
CLICK PRINT TO PRINT YOUR LETTERS OR EDIT INDIVIUALS LETTERS TO FURTHER PERSONALIZE SOME OR

ALL OF THE LETTERS

STEP 7- PRESS ENTER ON YOUR KEYBOARD AND CLICK GREETING LINE TO ENTER A GREETING
STEP 8- IN THE INSERT GREETING LINE DIALOG BOX, CHOOSE THE GREETING LINE FORMAT BY CLICKING
THE DROP BY CLICKING THE DROP-DOWN ARROWS AND SELECTING THE OPTION OF YOUR CHOICE AND

THEN CLICK ON OK

STEP 9 – NOTE THAT THE ADDRESS BLOCK AND GREETING LINE ARE SURROUNDED BY CHEVRONS.
WRITE A SHORT LETTER AND CLICK NEXT: PREVIEW YOUR LETTER

• PREVIEW YOUR LETTER AND CLICK NEXT: COMPLETE THE MERGE

• CLICK PRINT TO PRINT YOUR LETTERS OR EDIT THE INDIVIUALS LETTERS TO FURTHER PERSONALIZE
SOME OR ALL OF THE LETTERS
Finding and replacing the text
STEP 1- OPEN WORD DOCUMENT

STEP 2 –GO TO HOME> REPLACE OR PRESS CTRL+H

STEP 3 - ENTER THE WORD OR PHRASE YOU WANT TO LOCATE IN THE FIND BOX

STEP 4- ENTER YOUR NEW TEXT IN THE REPLACE BOX


STEP 5- SELECT FIND TEXT UNTIL YOU COME TO THE WORD YOU WANT TO UPDATE

STEP 6- CHOOSE REPLACE. TO UPDATE ALL INSTANCES AT ONCE, CHOOSE REPLACE ALL
