Task 1
The bar graph illustrates the manufacturing and consumption of the largest electricity in the ten nations in
2014.
Overall, the highest rate of making and utilizing electricity was in China while the least amount of spending
electricity was in the Korea republic. In addition, Germany is the only country that consumed more energy
than produced.
China produced and consumed the most, at 5,398 billion and 5,322 kWh, respectively. The next place was the
USA, where people consumed 3,866 kilowatts an hour and produced about 4,099. The other top 5, using and
produce almost a third less than the United States.
Then, the sixth and seventh place goes to Canada and France, amount of manufactured and usage up to 600
below 500 billion kWh. In eighth place, Brazil with nearly the same as France. For Germany as the ninth, the
consumption is higher almost 70 billion kWh than the produce. Finally, Korea’s rate of using and
manufacturing electricity are below 500 billion kWh in 2014. (164 words)

Task 2
It is argued that the majority of individuals agreed singing and to listen to music is one of the best ways to be
together with different cultures and ages. I partially agree with this argument and will give my reasons below.

First of all, music can reach across cultural and national countries and bring people together. There were
many changes in society by music. For example, a song by Michael Jackson called Heal the world is carrying
the message of humanity and peace. It still brings up to raise the awareness of the next generations about
moral values. Furthermore, that masterpiece has reached far over 200 million watching on Youtube.

Second of all, music helps people to feel happy when they are sad. Personally, when I am nervous or
something is disturbing me, I prefer to turn on my mp3 player and listen to some of my favorite music. It
helps me to feel good, leave my troubles behind and enjoy life.

Finally, music is the way which can easily make people familiar with a different culture without too much
effort. If you want to learn about other cultures from reading books or watching movies, the language barrier
may produce problems and you may quickly give up on this idea. However, in terms of music, those
problems can disappear because language is not a necessity in music. You can enjoy foreign music even you
cannot speak that language.

In conclusion, the best way to make people familiar with different cultures is to let them listen to several
pieces of music from other regions because it is the simplest way. (269 words)
