(Throughout my time in this Facilities Management class (preliminary, midterm, pre-final, and final), I've

learnt a lot about the subject. There are too many to mention, but I can't afford to. The one that truly
stuck in my mind is the one that I'll tell you about later.)

First is Health, Safety, and Security

safety and security ng bawat employee, visitors or persons outside the facility. And also the Organization
must focus on how work can be performed in a way that is safe and without risk to personnel and
property para mag ka Zero Accidents.

(I learned that a company's health, safety, and security of all employees, visitors, and anyone else who
enters the facility must be prioritized. In order to achieve Zero Accidents, the organization must also
focus on how work may be done in a way that is safe and without putting people or property in
jeopardy.)

Pero hindi naman talaga maiiwasan ang accident dahil merong mga natural disasters like earthquake, so
kailangan sa company every employee na meron dapat silang training the facility managers mag conduct
ng general health and safety awareness program, and also the first aid the facility managers must ensure
the availability of an adequate number of first aid personnel and also fire precautions dapat meron din

(However, because natural disasters such as earthquakes cannot be avoided, the company requires that
each employee receive training, and that facility managers conduct a general health and safety
awareness program, as well as a first-aid program in which facility managers must ensure the availability
of an adequate number of first-aid personnel, and that fire precautions include the conduct of fire risk
management and evacuation zones.)

Second Facility Planning

isang company because Nowadays there are more and more those who realize the true importance of
having a presentation comfortable, clean and pleasant for all.

(What I learned from building plans in terms of facility planning is that it is really vital. If you want to do
business, make sure your facility is well-designed for your staff and consumers, as well as the interior
quality, foundation, exterior, and vacant space. in a firm because more and more people are realizing
the genuine value of having a comfortable, clean, and pleasant presentation for everybody.)

Third The Totally Service Workplace

also a typically used for conventional office activities such as reading, writing and computer work. Ang
Virtual office naman ay thru technology perform like video call not require a physical office but a
simulated work virtually.

(Office space is where you work in your own office with your coworkers, and it's also where you do
things like read, write, and work on your computer. Virtual offices, on the other hand, operate using
technology such as video calls and do not require a real office, but rather a virtual work environment)

Fourth Design and Facility Management Briefing

Sa Business napaka importante tlaga Ang business case kasi it's provides justification for undertaking a
project, programme or portfolio. It evaluates the benefit, cost and risk of alternative options and
provides a rationale for the preferred solution.

(The business case, as I understand it, is crucial because it justifies the undertaking of a project,
program, or portfolio. It weighs the advantages, disadvantages, costs, and risks of many alternatives
before recommending the best option.)

Fifth Global Locations

Sa political Ang governments have a great deal of power over businesses and many times, there is not
much that businesses can do about it.Tulad na lamang sa pag bayad ng buwis.

For
example the Business permits.

(Governments wield enormous political power over corporations, and firms frequently have little
recourse. It's the same as paying your taxes.

In a time of terrorism, if you want to start a business, you need to be able to choose a place that is far
from commotion for the safety of your employees and to avoid interfering with your operations.

If you're in business, you should be aware that there are some laws or regulations that must be obeyed.
For instance, business permissions.)

Sixth Identifying a Country, Region, Community, and Site

kapag ikay mag bubusiness.

(If you want to start a business, you should learn what they require and what they are not allowed to do
based on cultural differences. If you set up a meat stand in Maguindanao, for example, the majority of
the people there will be Muslims. Pork is forbidden to them, hence they do not consume it. When doing
business, it's also crucial to understand the culture of the individuals you're dealing with.)

Seventh Layout Decision

Sa process lay out kailangan ang equipment and employees ay naka arrange for example ang room sng
mga filing section naka lain sa employees section and so on. Para Hindi messy at mabilis lang itong
hanapin.

pagpupulong.

(The equipment and personnel must be arranged during the layout process; for example, the filing area
has a different room than the employees section, and so on. It's not cluttered, and it's easy to find.

The group layout, on the other hand, is the process of arranging a facility of equipment, machines, and
people to make the manufacturing process as efficient as feasible. Workers or departments who
undertake comparable activities are grouped together in this layout. An assembly line is a layout in
which items are created by people, equipment, or departments arranged in a line.)

Facility Management Strategy

Sa Cross-cultural Management

Ang mga practices na natutunan ko to help in adapting organizational diversity are

-Acquire as much local institutional knowledge as possible and as early possible

- Utilize the knowledge of local partners who have the right connections to the right people and
authorities, and who know the correct way of working with them.

-Practice self reflection by thinking carefully about individual behavior and beliefs

Lastly, pay attention to situational characteristics and not so much to the stereotypes of national culture
differences.

The following are some of the techniques I've discovered to assist in adapting to organizational diversity.

-Acquire as much local institutional information as soon as possible.

- Leverage the expertise of local partners who know how to deal with the relevant people and
authorities and who have the proper connections.

-Practice self-reflection by carefully considering one's own actions and views.

Finally, focus on situational factors rather than assumptions about national culture differences.)

Ninth Process Selection and workplace productivity

Job shop for example emergency room this usually operates on a relatively small scale it is used when a
low volume of high variety goods or services will be needed it can handle a wide variety of work
however it is cost per unit and requires complex planning and scheduling

employees.

quantity of a wide variety of goods or services is required. They can handle a wide range of work, but
they are expensive per unit and require complex planning and scheduling.
The air quality, which is not polluted, is extremely vital to the company. Noise and vibration can wreak
havoc on employees' productivity.)

Tenth The insourcing and outsourcing decision

the advantages and disadvantages of insourcing

One example of advantage is trade markets allow ang organization mag control ng access to pertinent
information like confidential data and sa disadvantage Naman ay capabilities it's require tedious hiring
process, including personnel training and development since insourcing requires more skills and abilities
in managing business.

The outsourcing decision

Stakeholders as end users the organization must engage with it's stakeholders to define and detail their
needs through survey questionnaire or direct interviews.

(Owners, staff, and the board of directors are examples of internal customers.

Suppliers, clients, and competitors are examples of external customers.

the benefits and drawbacks of outsourcing

One advantage is that trade markets allow the organization to control access to sensitive information
such as confidential data. On the other hand, capabilities necessitate a time-consuming hiring process,
as well as personnel training and development, because insourcing necessitates more skills and abilities
in business management.

Last is Sustainable Facilities and Change Management

Para maging sustainable Ang facilities needed gid ning steps nga plannin, implementing, checking it
involves monitoring, measuring and correcting action, and reviewing progress and making changes to
the company.

Organizational change this type of change predicts the future nature of work and business in order to
position relevant changes in space or provision of the facility.

Goal this step to organizational transition involves determining the expected impact of transition on the
business, services affected, and end-user requirements among others.
(Last but not least, there's Sustainable Facilities and Change Management.

Facilities require these steps of planning, implementing, and checking to be sustainable. This includes
monitoring, measuring, and correcting actions, as well as reviewing progress and making changes to the
company.

Organizational change is a sort of change that forecasts the future nature of work and company in order
to plan for necessary adjustments in space or facility provision.

The goal of this step in the organizational transition process is to determine the projected impact of the
transition on the business, affected services, and end-user requirements, among other things.)

So that's what I learnt in Facilities Management; I'm confident that if I ever start my own business, I'll be
able to apply what I've learned, and thanks to our instructor, ma'am Kimberly Corona,if without you
ma'am we would not be able to comprehend this subject
