Typical Applications
The growing demand for purified water has seen a dramatic increase in the use of reverse
osmosis (RO) products throughout hundreds of industries. Producing water in its
purest state (up to 0.5µS/cm), RO water provides consistent specified quality for many
processes; from product make-up to power generation and drinking water to product rinsing.
Because of advancements in the technology of membrane casting, SPECTRUM RO membranes now not only
produce purer water but also target specific contaminants, such as seawater, calcium and magnesium. This in
turn creates new applications in which reverse osmosis can be employed. The current and future portfolio of
SPECTRUM elements is set to lead the way in water purification economically.
