Subject: Permission for Industrial visit at DRDO, Centre for Electronics and Radar
Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru

Babaria Institute of Technology BITS Edu Campus established in 2004, under Shree Krishna
Educational Charitable Trust, is one of the best institutes in Gujarat state and affiliated with
Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

Institute is running five engineering disciplines that are Computer Science Engineering,
Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Our students are highly interested to explore the 2D, 3D low level light weight Radar, Active
Electronically scanned array Radar, Coastal Surveillance radar, Maritime petrol Radar,
Primary Radar for AEW&C, Weapon locating Radar and their technologies under Ministry of
Defence. We, EC Department of Babaria Institute of Technology, Vadodara would like to
visit your esteemed organization as a part of industrial visit to students.

This visit will be beneficial for our students to acquire knowledge in the field of Electronics
and Radar Development Establishment Systems. It will be our privilege to visit the research
organization.

Dates for Visit: 18/03/2020 for 18 students +1 faculty

19/03/2020 for 17 students + 2 faculties

Total Experience 17 Years 01 months

Working as Head of Electronics and Communication engineering Department of BIT from 1 st May 2015.
Working as Asst. Prof. at BIT since Feb. 2011, Served as Asst. Prof. at SVIT- Vasad for the duration of Aug
2003 to Feb. 2011. Served as Trainee Engineer in GSFC from June 2000 to Oct. 2001. Served as faculty
coordinator for NBA process at SVIT in the year 2007. Served at various positions like PG Coordinator, Project
Coordinator, T & P Coordinator–BIT, PG faculty at GTU, Paper setter at GTU, Life time member of ISTE.

Name of Faculty :Dr. Khyati R. Zalawadia

Total Experience 16 years and 9 months

Working as Associate Professor in EC department since 2011, \Recognized P.G. Teacher in since 2011, P.G.
Co-ordinator at BIT since 2015, Active participation at SVIT, Vasad the time of NBA accreditation visit at EC
dept. In 2007, Institute Nodal Co-ordinator for Virtual Lab activity since 2018, Core committee member of
national event like Aahvan, Xitij, IETE student chapter co-ordinator since 2018, NAAC Coordinator, Life time
Membership of ISTE and IETE.

Name of Faculty : Prof. Mansi Rastogi

Total Experience 11 years and 5 months

Currently Work as an Assistant Professor at Babaria Institute of Technology, Vadodara in Electronics &
Communication Department since March 2015. Previously associate with NBA Accredited College affiliated
from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. IETE student chapter Coordinator, Part of various Cultural
and Technical events like Xitij, Aahvan held at college. Handle various folders like, Departmental Mentor
Coordinator and Class Coordinator, Department Ganesh Utsav Coordinator.

We will be very grateful if you give this opportunity to our students. It will be great learning
experience for our students. They will get exposure to the culture of research and get
motivated to go ahead in their future. They will have an opportunity to learn values like
