It’s a (marker). Then open the bag and look at the object. Have your child identify the object and say It’s a

pick up the animal and say I like (rabbits). Continue with other toy animals. Switch roles so that your child can
ask the question What do you like?

he or she likes and say I like (monkeys). I like (lions). etc. Then ask your child Do you want a lion? Your child
will answer yes or no. If your child answers yes, give your child the card. Have your child point to the animals
he or she doesn’t like and say I don’t like (dogs). You can do this activity with food items, too.
