Students have to choose a topic related to the following themes:

1. Business Ethics in a country of their choice

2. What are corporate cultures, and why do organization need to have a code of
conduct? Also, what does corporate social responsibility refer to, and how is it a
major issue today?
3. What is implied by ethical dilemma in business, and why and how can doing
business in today’s economy be challenging?
4. Employers’ rights and responsibilities versus employees’ rights and
responsibilities.
5. What are the factors affecting privacy (globalization, impact of technological
changes and social factors), and how can privacy in the work place be protected?
6. What are Sweat Shops, and why are the unethical practices by well known
companies in regards to sweat shops? What is the sweat shop debate?
7. How discrimination in business can be a major threat to culture diversity?
8. High pressure selling and deceptive practice in business such as deceptive
Promotion, deceptive Packaging…etc.
9. What is sustainability and what is sustainable business? Also, what does
sustainable business attempt to work on?
10. What is implied by ethics in marketing? For example, What are the ethical
questions in marketing? What are the ethical criticisms in marketing?
Please follow the following Instructions:

The paper should be divided as follows:

I. Introduction 20%

Introduce the topic of interest, hypothesis, the research questions…etc. (at least
three credible sources have to be used for this part and in text citations should be
made.

II. Main argument: This is the body of the paper where you present your case
and test your hypothesis using academic evidence. This part should be divided
into three sub headings to make the paper flow. 40 %
III. Conclusion : (20%
Explain what you accomplished in your paper and your major conclusions.
Also, write a summary of question posed and of findings. Also, your opinion
and predictions are required.

In text citations are extremely important in all three parts (10%).

Format Requirement (10%)

Your paper should include:

1. Title Page: It’s the first page of a term paper. It is not numbered and contains the
following:

 MSA logo

 The title of the paper

 The title of the course and of the course instructor and assistant.

 The student’s name, I.D. and contact (e-mail and telephone number)

 Date of submission

2. Table of Content contains the following:

 Introduction, titles and subtitles, conclusion, references

 Number your table of contents

 Include page numbers

 Use sub points and indent them.

 Use explicit but brief titles and sub titles.

 Structure your paper according to your focus of interest

 Use 12 point font: Times New Roman, with standard margins. The paper should
be type written (1.5 spaced).

 Referencing:

At least five, recently published references should be used. Each source you use
must be listed in APA format.
