I am pretty new to linux in general. I am running Mandriva 2009 with KDE 4.2. So far it seems
Posts good, but there is one feature that really annoys me, the taskswitcher that activates when I
3 move the mouse to the upper right corner. I seem to accidentally hit it each and every time I try
Karma to close a program.

Is it possible to deactivate it?

Posts Seems like this is the "Present Windows" effect. Click on the window icon > "Configure Window
300 Behavior... > Desktop Effects > All Effects and then deactivate Present Windows or change the
Karma mouse gesture for it, respectively.

3 No, it doesn't seem like that's it, the present windows option is already disabled

Posts Perhaps it is another effect. Are the Desktop Effects enabled? Not that this comes from another
300 window manager.

Karma Another way is to switch Desktop Activity type (in the Desktop Settings) to a containment
23 without the toolbox. I don't know if Mandriva ships such a containment (like openSUSE) by
OS default though.
