1. Action Plan Decisions: Perspective of Physical Therapist Assistant Staff in a Bachelor of Science
in Physical Therapy Program at St. Anne College of the Pacific
The main objective of this study is to assess the perception of the physical therapist assistant staff
in a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy program at St. Anne College of the Pacific.
Specifically, this aims the following:
1. To describe the profile of the respondents in terms of their educational attainment, gender,
and total number of physical therapy related subject taken;
2. To evaluate the respondents’ perception based on their awareness, understanding,
effectiveness responses, and attitude towards Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
program at St. Anne College of the Pacific;
3. To determine the significant difference between the respondents’ educational attainment and
their attitude towards the physical therapy program at St. Anne College of the Pacific; and
4. To formulate recommendations for the curriculum planners in designing the appropriate
strategies for educating physical therapy students.

2. Specifying Clinically Consequential Changes in Walking and Balance Ability in Stroke Patients
Obtaining Inpatient Physical Therapy
The main objective of this study is to specify the clinically consequential changes in walking and
balance ability in stroke patients obtaining inpatient physical therapy.
Subsequently, it aims the following:
1. To measure the level of inpatient physical therapy the respondents obtained;
2. To assess the effect of inpatient physical therapy on the respondents walking and balance
ability;
3. To correlate the clinically consequential changes in walking and balance ability of the stroke
patients with the level of inpatient physical therapy; and
4. To associate the findings with the selected demographic variables.

3. Student experiences with problem-based education and the development of ethical guiding
principles in physical therapy
This main objective of the study is to examine the student experiences with problem-based
education and the development of ethical guiding principles in physical therapy.
Specifically, this aims the following:
1. To assess the experiences encountered by the students with problem-based education;
2. To evaluate the effect of the development of ethical guiding principles in physical therapy
practice by the students;
3. To identify the implications of the problem-based education and the development of ethical
guiding principles in physical therapy on students; and
4. To associate the student’s experiences with selected demographic variables.
4. Medical reasoning in physical therapy: experts and novices’ perspectives.
The main objective of the study is to explore the perception of the experts and novices on the
medical reasoning in physical therapy.
Specifically, this aims the following:
1. To determine the perception of the experts and novices based on awareness, understanding,
and attitude towards the medical reasoning in physical therapy;
2. To assess the factors that affect the respondents’ perception on medical reasoning in physical
therapy;
3. To evaluate the limitations of the medical reasoning according to the available standards; and
4. To conceptualize a broad description of the medical reasoning in physical therapy grounded
by the respondents’ perception.

5. Integrating Multiple Sources of Feedback to Establish a Physical Therapy Practical Evaluation


Model
The main objective of the study is to integrate multiple sources of feedback to establish a physical
therapy practical evaluation model.
Specifically, this aims the following:
1. To synthesize feedbacks from multiple respondents with experience undergoing physical
therapy;
2. To evaluate the synthesis of the respondent’s feedback regarding the physical therapy
practical management;
3. To unify understanding from the respondents for generating physical therapy practical
evaluation model; and
4. To establish a well-grounded physical therapy practical evaluation model.
