THERE ARE ADJECTIVES AND ADJECTIVES, YOU KNOW?
First of all, what's an adjective?
It's a word that qualifies or describes a noun.

Oh my good! You have such a beautiful house.

Some adjectives are gradable: they can be made stronger or weaker


STRONGER WEAKER
I'm tired. I'm extremly tired. I'm pretty tired.

Some adjectives are absolute: they cannot be made stronger or


weaker, but you can modify them to add emphasis.

I'm exhausted. I'm completely exhausted.
