The rank certificates were issued to the candidates based on the normalization of marks in 12‘ grade. The rank certificate issued are valid for the admission to the DNS programmes in the Affiliated Institutes for February 2022 batch. There will not be any CET for ranking further for February 2022 batch. The rank lists can be viewed from IMU website. All the Affiliated Institutes conducting DNS Programme February 2022 Batch can select the candidates holding IMU Rank Certificate issued for the academic year 2021-22 and are to make necessary tie-ups for onboard training for the candidates to be admitted, with Ship-Owning Companies / Ship managing Companies/RSPL agencies before the above mentioned date. The number of slots for which the sponsorship is available should be forwarded to IMU on or before 24°" December 2021 in the format prescribed on the Official Letter Head signed by the Authorized Signatory. The Affiliated Institute should acquire the necessary sponsorship letters from the Ship-owning Companies / Ship-managing Companies/ East Coast Road, Semmencherry, Sholinganallur (P.O), Chennai- 600119. IMU may independently refer the copies of the sponsorship letters for verifying their genuineness to the sponsoring Ship-owning Companies/Ship Managing Companies /RPSL Agencies Candidates admitted in any mode other than above, will not be allotted Admission Registration Number and such candidates will not be allowed to appear in any of the scheduled examinations of IMU.
