Objective: -practice how to use Vernier calipers and micrometer screw gauges;
-make calculations of volume and density.

Apparatus:
Procedure:
1. Measure the height, length and width of the rectangular wooden block and record the values in
the table below
2. Weigh the block and calculate the, volume and density of the block and fill the values in the table
below
3. By using Vernier caliper and micro meter screw gauge, measure the diameter of spherical bob
and diameter and height of right cylinder. Then compare the values
4. Then calculate area, volume and density of them.
