2. Low Hee wanted to get to the front as he realized he was too far back. He stopped
trying to get there as he was pulled by his grandmother.
3. Low Hee’s longing to poke the statue of buddha tells us that he really did not respect
the Buddha very much.
4. We can tell the people trusted the fortune teller as cluster of people had gathered

serpents.
6. Lee’s fascination was towards seeing the dragon. Lee never asked his grandmother
any questions as he thought it was disrespectful.
7. By the word squeaked, we can understand the fortune tellers voice was really low and
sharp.

clothes she made in New Year and cried. Lee saw her grandmother lose her self-
possession in public.
