FAMOUS HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY BUSINESS IN THE PHILIPPINES

1. SPIRAL RESTAURANT

Spiral Restaurant is in Sofitel Philippine Plaza and offers one of the best-known buffet
spreads in the country. The restaurant features an interactive gourmet dining experience with 21
ateliers that give you a taste of dining in 21 different countries in a single place.

Spiral Restaurant offers an amazing array of food in an elegant dining environment. At

the front of the dining area is a list of all the ateliers and what they offer, from the French
station to the Japanese hot and cold stations. A basket of fresh olive bread is provided as soon
as you sit down, and it goes so well with butter. Don't eat too much though, as you’ll need room
for the sumptuous steak, oysters, crabs, ramen, sushi, noodles, caviar, pasta, roasted chicken,
wood-fired pizza, dim sum, and a whole lot more.

2. BANK BAR

The “secret” spot behind a 7-Eleven convenience store is called Bank Bar, although there
is no signage that easily gives away its location. A short hallway is designed to look like a stock
room, complete with shelves and grocery items, leading to a curtain that covers the actual
entrance of the bar.

Bank Bar’s overall feel is modern, with its plush seats and an industrial-style exposed
ceiling and is said to be a “cross between old world loft and cathedral left in ruins.” Guests can
enjoy their drinks at the bar at the corner of the room, or order from the trolleys. Many like
coming here for its ambience and extensive selection of cocktails. If you crave something strong,
opt for Due Diligence, if not, go for the fruity Pinay Colada that uses three kinds of local rum.
Bank Bar opened two years ago as a place for “retired party people.” No loud music, no dancing,
and a wide selection of drinks.

Today that has changed but I think what makes Bank unique is the atmosphere it provides
and how it evolves this throughout the night.” At dusk, it is a space for a reflective pre-dinner
Negroni, but later that night, it transforms into a more vibrant club with music spun by the house
DJ. At dusk, it is a space for a reflective pre-dinner Negroni, but later that night, it transforms
into a more vibrant club with music spun by the house DJ. It is during that quiet time, between 5
p.m. to 8 p.m. every weekday that they are now offering their Happily Hour After promotion
with endless cocktails at P695++ per person. Mixes on the all-you-drink and all-you-can-hold-in
menu include daiquiris, mojitos, shochu, and tequila highballs, along with a special Earl Grey
martini that can only be found on the happy hour drink list . Also giving you the best bang for
your buck are the Money Pours on selected spirits—from gin to scotch— along with glasses of
house red and white wines. Teetotalers are also welcomed to imbibe with sweetheart concoctions
of cucumber or raspberry smashes.
