 INTRODUCTION

· This mission is started by the government of India

to spread awareness and inform people that voting
is one of the most important human rights.

· Celebrated on 25 January every year.

· “The ballot is stronger than a bullet” – Abraham

· It is the 12th edition of National voters Day
on 25 January 2022.

· Symbolizes the power of vote and voter.

· Every year a new theme and various

awareness campaigns are being held on
national voter’s day.

our voters empowered, vigilant,
safe and informed”
 HISTORY
. The election commission of India was founded by 25
January 1950.

· Therefore, The NVD was launched on 25 January 2011 to

inspire and encourage the youth for the “biggest festival of
democracy” i.e. Indian election.

· During the rallies in the government campus, a union

cabinet meeting was held under former Prime minister Dr.
Manmohan Singh.

· The Prime Minister accepted the law ministry proposal to

enact the Day.

· Voting is one important way that we can participate in our

democracy.

· It is the leader who decides the future of the country.

. National voter’s day is the significant root of India as future of

the country lies in the leader that we choose.

·Our youth should take interest in election activites.

. If you don’t vote, someone else will make
the decision for you. Your power is in your
vote.

· Transparency in taxation.

· Support the candidates and ballot

measures that can help your community,
state, and even the nation for the greater
good.

are giving employees flexibility to exercise their civic duty.

now vote by mail.

6. Registering to vote is a big step into adulthood and it’s

possible to sign up before 18.

The importance of your vote in 2020 has never
been greater. When one votes, he or she participates in
the process that only free nations have – a collective
decision toward the leadership of a community, state and
country.

The elected officials represent us in governing where we

work and live. Hence,voters should always be aware and
vigilant.
