Infosys HR Practices

• At Infosys, the first step in performance appraisal was to look at an employee's

skills for the tasks they were supposed to do during the time they were being
looked at. To figure out how well the employee did, things like how quickly
they did their work, how well it was done, how satisfied customers were, how
well their coworkers were, and how well the business could grow were looked
at.
• The HR department of Infosys is primarily responsible for training and
development. The company now employs over 20,000 people, and training
and development has always been a top priority for HR departments across
the board. The organisation is eager to provide its staff with outstanding
training possibilities. Though the HR department leads the way in terms of
training and development at Infosys, other departments also participate and
interact with HR. HR personnel are in charge of training and development,
which is done in accordance with the needs of various departments in various
geographic regions. Certain training contents, such as technology, business
expertise, company policies, and marketing, are overseen by training and
development specialists. The human resources department makes yearly
plans.
• The corporation placed a strong emphasis on employee satisfaction. Infosys
implemented a benefit scheme with the goal of achieving it. The financial
means of adding value to workers through compensation and benefits is on
par with the other two ways of adding value to workers: learning value-add
through education and emotional value-add through working conditions
(Delong, 2005). The company has worked hard to maintain its distinction as
an Employer of Choice or Best Employer since its inception (Delong, 2005).
• In addition, the firm has a very effective health platform. HALE (Health
Assessment and Lifestyle Enrichment) aims to provide monthly checks,
expert counselling, and a variety of classes such as yoga and stress
management to employees (Delong, 2005). In addition, Infosys looks after its
employees' leisure by hosting a variety of clubs that offer sports and cultural
activities.
