A WEBINAR ON ADDRESSING COVID-19

VACCINE MISINFORMATION

FOREWORD
Project management is critical since it ensures that what is produced is
accurate and will add actual value to the business opportunity. Every
client has strategic objectives, and the projects we complete for them
help them achieve those objectives. Project management is vital since
one of a PM's responsibilities is to guarantee that programs are correctly
architected so that they fit well within our client's core pillars. Good
project management ensures that project goals are tightly aligned with
the company's vision and mission.

Project management is vital in creating a good business case and being

thorough about calculating ROI since it can help to ensure that the
proper product is provided, which will deliver actual value. Naturally, as
projects advance, risks may emerge, which may evolve into challenges,
or the business plan may alter. However, a project manager will make
certain that the project is included in the realignment.

A team without project management can be

compared to a ship without a rudder; it will
move but will lack direction, control, and
purpose. Team members are able to execute
their best work because of leadership. Project
management gives the team with direction
and vision, as well as motivation, roadblock
removal, coaching, and inspiration to
accomplish their best work. Teams and clients
are exposed to chaotic management, unclear
objectives, a lack of resources, unrealistic
planning, excessive risk, low-quality project
deliverables, projects that run over budget,
and projects that are delivered late if Project
Management is not used.

1. THE PROJECT
A project is defined as a set of tasks that must be completed to achieve a
particular result. According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), the
term project refers to "a temporary effort with a specific beginning and end."
It can be managed by one or more people, depending on the complexity.

A project management process is a management process for planning and controlling the implementation

A of a service or project. This process begins after customer approval, is contractual, and is based on process
defaults and general project management. The project management process requires special configuration,
including project management documentation. Project planning; project management methods; information

THE exchange (one-on-one discussions, project meetings, project workshops, etc.). Resources for project
planning and project implementation. The project management process needs to perform the following
PROJECT aspects: Project implementation. Project planning; project realization; project management; project

PROCESS relevance analysis and evaluation. The result of one of these processes is: Delivery of project products.
Achieving project goals; documentation of the learning process.

B It is believed that project management in different organizations can’t be overstated. When the processes
is done accurately this will help the business to run its operation smoothly. Through this project
management process also, it will let your teams in the company to focus directly to the work that matters,
THE IMPORTANCE no distractions due to slipping tasks or budgets. It allows them to achieve results that have a real impact on

company outcomes. And it gives your employees a chance to see how their work contributes to the
MANAGEMENT
company's strategic objectives.
PROCESS

C A project is a set of tasks that must be carried out to achieve a particular outcome. A project may also be
defined as a set of inputs and outputs required to achieve a specific target. Projects are often identified and
delegated by a manager or leader. They review their expectations and objectives, and the team is

PROJECT responsible for managing the logistics and delivering the project on time. There are times when deadlines
can be set. For a good productivity of the project, certain teams divide it into individual tasks to manage
DEFINITION accountability and use the strengths of the team.

D Is the application of processes, methods, skills, knowledge and experience to achieve specific project
objectives in accordance with the project acceptance criteria under agreed terms of reference. Final project
management deliverables are limited to a specific time frame and budget. A key factor that distinguishes
PROJECT project management from simple management is that it has this final deliverable and limited time, contrary

MANAGEMENT to management, which is an ongoing process. For that reason, a project professional needs a wide variety
of skills; often technical skills, and certainly people management skills and good business knowledge.
DEFINITION
The project start phase is the first phase of the project
management lifecycle because it involves the start of a
new project. In the start-up phase, business problems or
opportunities are identified, solutions are defined,

2. INITIATION projects are formed, project teams are appointed, and

solutions are created and delivered to customers.
Business cases are created to define problems or
opportunities in detail and identify suitable solutions for
implementation.

deemed useful.
5. Time-bound: The objective must have a definite maturity or purpose.

e. Project Charter f. Sponsors

A project charter is a formal, generally short, document that describes Project sponsors are generally senior managers who
your entire project- including what the goals are, how they will be met, exercise a respectable level of influence and authority and
and who the stakeholders are. This is a critical component of project act as project promoters. Project sponsors are often
planning as it is used throughout the project lifecycle. The project referred to by different names, like the Product Sponsor,
charter typically documents: Project Director, Account Manager or Business Unit

g. Stakeholders h. Requirements
Project requirement are condition or task that must be met to ensure
Stakeholders are those who are interested in the outcome of the
project. Typically, they are project team members, project managers, the success or completion of the project. They give a clear picture of
executives, project sponsors, clients, and users. Stakeholders are the the work to be done. They are designed to balance project resources
people who will be impacted by a project at all stages of its lifecycle, with organizational goals. Benefits of effectively understanding
and their inputs can have a direct impact on outcomes. It is very project requirements include cost savings, improved project success

communicate continuously to work together on a project. communication between stakeholders.
Project planning communicates results, timing, schedules, and team roles and responsibilities.
During the planning phase of a project, the project manager needs to think about the risks and
obstacles that may occur during the project. These early considerations can prevent future problems
from affecting the overall success of the project or leading to the failure of the project. Too few
plans can cause confusion and frustration. With too many plans, you have more administrative work
and less time to spend on creative work. Ultimately, the planning phase of project management
determines how smoothly the project goes through its life cycle. Therefore, it is very important to
take the time to plan properly at the beginning of the project.

a. Project Planning Checklist

The main reason for creating a project planning checklist is to ensure that each team member completes the task according to
their role. Before planning things for others, you need to ask yourself. The project manager is responsible for successfully guiding
the ups and downs of the project. When team members seek help, your actions need to show your credibility in order to maintain
their credibility throughout the project life cycle.

b. Kick-Off Meeting
The project kick-off meeting is the first meeting with the project team and, if applicable, the project's clients. This meeting is the
time to set common goals and objectives for the project. Starting a project without orientation is like going on a trip without a plan.
Along the way, you'll see some stimulating things, but you'll end your vacation with weary travellers and a rather meager photo
album. A good project kick off meeting sets the course for fruitful and seamless project teamwork.
3. PROJECT PLANNING

c. Work-Breakdown Structure
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) visually organizes project deliverables at different levels based on dependencies. Basically, this
is a plan for a project in visual form, with the project's goals at the top and dependencies and sub-dependencies at the bottom.

d. Network Diagram
A project network diagram is a visual representation of a project workflow. A network diagram is a diagram filled with fields
representing tasks and responsibilities and arrows representing the schedule and sequence in which tasks must be completed.

e. Gantt Chart
Gantt charts are particularly useful for simplifying complex projects, but are a project management tool that helps you plan and
schedule projects of any size. Project management due dates and tasks are converted to bar charts showing start and finish dates
as well as dependencies, schedules and due dates. This includes the amount of work completed on the milestone and the owner of
the task. This is useful for tracking work when you have large teams and multiple stakeholders and the scope changes.

f. Managing Risks
Project risk management is the process of identifying, analysing, and responding to all risks that arise during the project lifecycle
to keep the project on track and achieve its goals. Risk management is not just about reacting. Knowing the risks your project may
pose and how to control those risks if they arise should be part of the planning process. A risk is anything that can potentially
affect a project's schedule, performance, or budget. Risks are potential opportunities, and when they become a reality in the
context of project management they are classified as “problems” that need to be addressed. Thus, risk management is the process
of identifying, classifying, prioritizing and planning risks before they become problems.

g. Teams
Project teams span multiple disciplines, and team members come together from different departments and may include experts
from external companies or vendors. The project team is responsible for completing the project (task completion) according to the
project schedule. Having the right skills in the project team is critical to the success of the project, and the composition of the
project team can change as different skills are required for specific milestones and outcomes. Normally the project manager will be
dependable throughout the project life cycle while on some great projects specialist project managers may lead certain phases for
example a procurement or feasibility stage.
4. EXECUTION
Executing a project means rolling up your sleeves and taking action, as outlined in the project
plan. Simply put, implement these strategies (what will literally be?) To get your project to the
finish line. Executing a project is sometimes referred to as project implementation. It's another
chic name that means the same thing. Execution is the third step in a typical project life cycle
and consists of four phases: start, plan, execute, and complete.

A Conflict is a common occurrence in the workplace. Conflict is a situation in which the interests, needs,
goals, or values o f project participants contradict each other. Project managers should view conflict as an
opportunity for growth and an opportunity to put the project into action. Conflicts allow project managers,
project stakeholders, or any team member to raise and resolve issues and highlight unexpected issues. It
CONFLICTS helps people to be practical and learn to recognize differences and benefit from it.

B
Project managers spend a lot of time developing plans and setting team goals. Then, sponsors,
stakeholders, and teams spend a lot of time changing the scope of their work and the deployment process.
A clear and easy change management process and a closer look at the big picture, even if some details
change, are essential to moving forward on a project and staying calm. Change occurs at almost every
MANAGING stage of the project management lifecycle. Recognizing that change is inevitable and often rewarding is

CHANGES IN part of the process that enables the best project managers to take a more flexible approach to planning
and execution. Developing a strategy to respond effectively to change is the fastest way to track your

TO CHANGE helps people to be practical and learn to recognize differences and benefit from it.

D
To positively influence people, you have to be sincere. Instead of mimicking the authenticity of others, find
out what makes you unique. Expand your unique perspective on a problem, then live and respect it. One of
the reasons social media influencers are so influential is that they find their own niche or solve common
problems and approach them with unusual or unusual approaches. People instinctively value people whose
HOW TO public image matches their personal values. We worry about contradictions because we crave stability.

INFLUENCE When someone claims to be on the same path but lives the opposite of that profession, it's a sign they're
confused or unreliable and therefore untrustworthy. None of these combinations are indicative of a positive
OTHERS? effect on others.
The process of running and reporting a project must be done throughout the project. By effectively setting up
your project management process, you can track costs and schedules as things change and evolve throughout
your project. It's the key to navigating a project in stormy water-and it prevents your project from collapsing.

A. COMMUNICATION
Project status notifications provide a means of communicating project status to sponsors and stakeholders on a regular basis
(usually every two weeks) other than phase reviews. Very useful when planning long-term phases or when you have permission to
skip some phase reviews. Communication about the status of a project can take many forms. The most common are PowerPoint
presentation documents. Unlike phase reviews, which can contain multiple slides, a project status message must consist of one
slide per project. The focus is on exposing a compact visual representation of the status of the project. General project status
slides required overall project status, project objective summary, status summary, outcome / outcome / profit list, key issues,
sponsor / stakeholder response. A timeline that includes actions, and high levels.

B. LISTENING
A listening project is a deep listening interview that often contains voices that you have never heard or ignored that may bring a
new perspective to a problem or solution. Interviews are processed and analysed. This provides a better understanding of
community needs and issues and provides new resources for successful community organization and action.
5. CONTROL AND REPORT

C. REPORTING
Project management reports are an essential project management tool. Provides an overview of project status that can be shared
with stakeholders, customers, and team members. Ideally, the project report should be one or two pages long. It also allows
anyone to quickly assess what is happening on schedule, what is late, and what is late. Good communication, management, and
organization are central to effective project management. Regular project management reports can help you get your project on
track. You can also use project reports to manage risk and monitor budgets and schedules.

D. MANAGING DELAYS
Project delays cause many problems, some of which may not be immediately apparent. Delays increase the cost of the project. A
late day is another day to pay for unbudgeted staff and other resources. After all, time is money. However, there are other costs to
consider. Not to mention the reputation of the manager, it can damage the company's reputation with its customers and other
stakeholders. If a project is delayed, you can delay other projects by tying up the resources you need elsewhere. If the delay is
extremely high, the entire project will collapse, leading to project failure.

E. ESCALATION
Escalation is an increase in intensity or range, or an increase to counter perceived deviations. Project management escalation is
expected to increase uncommitted costs of resources (labour costs, materials, equipment) over time due to reduced purchasing
power of money. Escalation allowance is a component of the expected additional charge cost in the cost class. Escalation can also
refer to a problem or the process of resolving a problem. The project manager is responsible for ensuring that project team
members reach milestones and complete the project. The project manager works with the team to create a project plan and
manages the team's implementation of project tasks. It is also the project manager's responsibility to ensure the acceptance and
approval of the service by the project sponsor and stakeholders.

F. NEGOTIATING RATIONAL DELAYS

G. TEAM MEETINGS
Project meetings include communicating with participants and stakeholders, discussing topics, making suggestions, and approving
or rejecting offers. They generate group decisions that contribute to faster execution of the project with respect to planned goals
and expected outcomes. Therefore, project managers need to have good skills at project meetings to determine the success of a
project. Project meetings are the most important tool for discussing problems, finding solutions, deciding where the project should
go, exchanging important information, and building relationships between participants. In addition, it saves valuable time and,
with proper organization, avoids possible frustration.
7. PROJECT
OR PHASE
CLOSE

The purpose of the completion phase of

the project management lifecycle is to
ensure the completion of the project
service to the satisfaction of the project
sponsor and to inform all participants and
stakeholders of the final project
processing and status. With the end of
the project, all project participants and
stakeholders are fully aware of follow-up
activities (new projects, service transfers,
SLAs, etc.) and sufficient to contact and
coordinate with the owners of related
projects and production services. You can
secure various opportunities. Closing
activities should also include the lessons
learned and the identification and
recording of best practices.

Rationale
The unprecedented spread of the coronavirus has created an urgent
public health catastrophe throughout the world. Aside from the human
impact, there is a major commercial impact being felt throughout the
world. Viruses have no boundaries, therefore their effects will continue
to spread. COVID-19 is already causing problems in nearly every
country. It's possible that the coronavirus, like the Ebola, Zika, and
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) viruses in recent years,
may go away. Even if it does, the next deadly, yet-unnamed pandemic
CHAPTER II

is a matter of "when" rather than "if."

As of September 3, 2021, six (6) Municipalities from Bukidnon have

been identified as top ten (10) in Northern Mindanao with an active
and rising number of people infected with covid-19. These are the
Municipality of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Valencia City, Bukidnon,
Manolo Fortich, Quezon, Maramag and Don Carlos Bukidnon (PIA-10
/DOH 10). As a result, the province adopted stringent security
measures in order to prevent the coronavirus illness (Covid-19) from
spreading further.

Despite the careful implementation of security measures, many

people have been infected with the covid-19. In response, Bukidnon
began purchasing covid-19 vaccine in order to slow and hopefully stop
the virus's spread. Nonetheless, despite our government's efforts to
get the covid-19 vaccine in order to protect citizens against the virus,
a large number of residents have chosen not to be vaccinated. This is
due to disinformation they received from a variety of dubious sources
on various social media platforms, and this misinformation is based on
no genuine data or study.

Getting vaccinated should be encouraged for everyone who is

eligible. There has to be a public awareness campaign on the benefits
of vaccination, particularly in Barangay Poblacion Impasugong, where
the number of sick individuals is increasing and fatalities are also
increasing due to the virus's rapid spread. COVID-19 immunization is a
less risky method to aid in the development of protection. Whether or
not you have already had COVID-19, you must be vaccinated. People
who have been completely immunized appear to have superior
protection than those who have received COVID-19. According to
study, unvaccinated persons who have already had COVID-19 are more
than twice as likely to get it again as fully vaccinated ones.
Unvaccinated persons are still at risk from COVID19. Some persons
who get COVID-19 become quite sick, requiring hospitalization, while
others experience long-term health issues several weeks or even
months after contracting the virus. Even those who were asymptomatic
when they were infected might develop these long-term health issues.
VI. Objectives
CHAPTER II

The activity adheres to the following objectives:

a. Educate the unvaccinated individuals about the benefits of
getting a COVID-19 Vaccine.

b. Stop the dissemination of false information about the

COVID-19 vaccination.

VII. Expected Output

The following are expected after the event:
a. Gather the unvaccinated Students from Bukidnon State
University Impasugong Satellite Campus, Parents, Barangay
Officials of Barangay Poblacion Impasugong, and Health
Workers Orientation on Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign
following health and safety protocols.

b. Convince unvaccinated students, faculty & staff and parents

from Bukidnon State University Impasugong Satellite Campus

XI. Budget Requirement

X. Recommendation
COVID-19 is a complex, unpredictable, and wicked
challenge that requires a wide range of creative and
inventive methods to solve. Thus, imparting to the
community the importance of health and safety is
highly needed these days specially having a dose of
the COVID-19 vaccine. The collaboration between
the people within the community, local government
unit and health workers is a great indication that
everyone is looking forward for the betterment of
each and the nation as a whole.

Therefore, it is highly recommended to build a

partnership between the people in the community,
Health Workers and Local Government Unit of the
Municipality of Impasugong to properly disseminate
information that will not just save lives but offer the
good future and give resilience to the community.

1. Project Description
The rampant spread of misinformation or fake news regarding the Covid-19
vaccine as well as the hesitation of the community in adhering to the call of
the government to get vaccinated led to the conceptualization of the
activity. The purpose of this project is to help the community be informed
with the correct information with regards to the COVID-19 vaccines. It is
encouraged that everyone who is eligible for the vaccines must have their
dose of the vaccine. When someone is vaccinated, they are almost certainly
protected against the disease being targeted. However, not everyone is
eligible for vaccination. Certain vaccines may not be available to people
who have underlying health disorders that weaken their immune systems or
who have severe sensitivities to particular vaccine components. These
individuals can still be protected if they live in an environment where others
have been vaccinated. When a large number of people in a community are
vaccinated, the pathogen has a difficult time spreading because the
majority of the people it comes into contact with are immune.

2. Scope Statement
The project was expected to:

6. Lessons Learned for
Implementing the
Project
The following lesson might be used as an example of evaluation in the
development of such a project:

6.1 There will be ongoing communication between the Project Implementers

and others involved in the project who have a significant role to play.

1. To avoid disagreements, any adjustments, improvements, or re-arrangements must be

reported as soon as feasible.
2. Face-to-face activities are less likely to occur during this pandemic, thus backup
arrangements that are friendly to potential clients should be in place.
3. Webinars can be used to replace the face-to-face activity that would be shown to
every barangay, allowing students, parents and guardians to attend the school less
frequently.

6.2. Due to the barangay's location especially here in the municipality of

Impasugong, internet connectivity may be limited.

Comments
It brings me great joy to create a project proposal that is both timely and relevant
to our current situation.

To give our potential clients a creative outlet, project ideas taught us to think
beyond the box.

2 Although there may be constraints and control over interactions, we believe that
in the long run, this project will serve as a good foundation for future proposals
that will aid the countrymen in their pursuit of growth and wealth.
