Steps for e-signing of Application and Annexures

Step 1: Ensure you upload required and correct documents in the Annexure
section

As part of the online application the customer is required to upload mandatory documents as
Annexures. For Legal Entities (LE) i.e., for the Enterprise, entity is required to upload the relevant
document which has been selected (refer to below Figure-1 highlighted in RED colour).

Step 2: Ensure you have mentioned the correct e-mail ID and Mobile number
and selected Chief Promoter / Authorised Signatory

Please note that the documents along-with the application form would be sent to you for e-signing
through a link to the e-mail ID and mobile no using the services of NeSL (National e-Governance
Services Ltd and CDAC). Please ensure that the e-mail ID and mobile number provided as part of the
promoter’s details section of the application form is correct. The e-sign link will be sent to the person
selected as “Chief Promoter / Authorised Signatory” as shown in Figure-2.

The e-sign link would be sent once the application is submitted (Figure-3), combining the Application
Form and all the documents uploaded in the Annexure section into a single document which has to be
e-signed. Once the e-signed application and annexure is received by SIDBI, then only the application
will be considered as submitted.

Step 3: Check e-mail / SMS for link for e-signing and click on link

As highlighted in Figure-4 / Figure-5 please click on the link provided to start the e-signing process.
The link will take you to the page of NeSL (National e-Governance Services Ltd) website.

Step 4: Preview the document to check its correctness and scroll down to
the bottom of the previewed document to click “I Agree”

As shown in Figure-6 once you click the link received on your e-mail / SMS for e-signing, you will be
able to preview the document. Please read and scroll down to the bottom of the document (this is
required to ensure you have previewed the complete document). A button “I Agree” would be shown
(Figure-7). Click on “I Agree” and tick the box for consent and click on eSign button as shown in Figure-
8 to proceed for obtaining Aadhar authentication based e-sign, using the services of C-DAC [a
government entity and authorised e-sign service provider].

Step 5: e-Authenticate using Aadhar (using VID/Aadhar) and OTP

As shown in Figure-9 once you click the e-sign button, you will be taken to the C-DAC e-Sign service.
Please provide your Virtual Aadhar (VID) or Aadhar number. If you don’t have a Virtual ID, you can
click on the Get Virtual ID link and generate one. Click on Get OTP. An OTP will be received on the
mobile number associated with the Aadhar through UIDAI. Enter the OTP received. Once you are
authenticated based on the OTP the document is e-signed and would automatically be received by
SIDBI against your application. The e-signed version of the document can be previewed / downloaded
for reference (Figure-10).
