Today is the schedule of our departmentalized examination for GE6 Science Technology and Society. To
prepare you for the assessment this coming afternoon, here are three reminders:

1. Be on time! The exam will automatically be posted in our MS TEAMS at exactly 11:00AM and
will NOT allow turn-ins at exactly 12:00NN. For you not to be late, I recommend that all of you
should be active or on the watch before the set posting time (be online at 10:30 AM). To avoid
late submission or turn-ins, set a 15 mins or 10 mins allowance in submitting. Be informed that
once the clock hit the 12:00NN mark, you are no longer allowed to submit the said exam.

2. Be organize! Keep away any unnecessary materials that could cause distractions for you while
taking the exam. Make sure to inform your instructor as soon as possible if you’re having
technical difficulties. To avoid future dilemmas, make sure to set up your gadgets or gears
before the call time. Check the signal quality on your area and if there is a scheduled power
interruption or system maintenance.

3. Have a Plan B for backup! If you’re using a PC which is plugged-in-dependent to DC power,

make sure to utilize other form factor like a laptop, smartphone, tablet etc. (if you possess any).
If you’re using fibr or line-based internet connection, it’s better to have a prepaid/postpaid cell
site-based data backup. Being prepared for the worst-case scenarios is the best risk to take,
other than to take the risk and not be prepared to deal with the consequences when it happens.
