NCM 101 Skills Laboratory Online Midterm Examination Guidelines

Greetings Nurses!

In preparation for your term exam, this will be the comprehensive guide. Make sure to read the
whole content to avoid unnecessary mistakes and finish the exam with ease. Another purpose of
this is to help you avoid violations while taking the online exam.

1. Make sure to power up your devices 1 hour before taking the exam. If power interruption is
imminent, have a power bank beside you in order to ensure the completion of your exam.
The exam time is on 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM.
2. Secure a strong connection, test your connectivity before opening the exam link to avoid errors
and the for not being fully submitted.
3. Be online at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam, test for connection fluctuations, wait for
announcements and ready your browser.
4. To take the exam diligently, it is required for the student to have two (2) devices ready.
a. One device for taking the exam.
b. One device to join with a video conference together with the exam proctor and your
classmates.
5. The device to be used for video conferencing is advised to angle at this suggested position:

This is encouraged in order to help the examinees avoid cheating and hence, increase the integrity
of the examination.
6. The duration of the examination will be for one (1) hour only. Late submissions will not be
registered by the Learning Management System of the University. Make sure to be conscious of
your time consumption.
7. Bladder break will not be allowed during the examination, make sure to urinate/defecate before
taking the exam.
8. Avoid cheating in any forms. This will result to failure of the examination.
9. After finishing the exam, wait for the exam results via the Canvass app or your subject teachers’
announcement.
10. Questions and clarifications will be entertained AFTER the exam time.
