The broad objective of the study is to find out the challenges that has hindered the
market efficiency of the insurance companies and its overall prospects in Digos City.

This study seeks to achieve the following objectives:

 To identify the challenges that are hindering the market efficiency of

 Assert the impact of the challenges and prospects in the market efficiency of

3. Theoretical/ Conceptual Framework

4. Methodology

An empirical survey via questionnaires. Before preparing the final questionnaire, a pilot
survey was also conducted in order to test the validity and relevance of the questions.

5. Research Agenda

This study is related to the capital market accounting. Challenges and prospects in the
market efficiency of insurance companies that will provide a huge impact in the
insurance companies that may shed light on ways especially in Digos City. we look
forward we feel there is a long way to go. If we look backward, certainly we have
achieved some success.

B. Research Project Duration:

The study will be conducted in a span of approximately 3 months Since there are few
insurance companies in Digos City that the researchers will need to gather data on specific
challenges and prospects in the market efficiency to analyze exactly.
