CO2 - LESSON 1 ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

REFLECTION:

"Earth without ozone will be like a house without a roof". The first thing
that we can do is to create awareness among people can help a great
deal. The ozone layer is a layer in the stratosphere that absorbs the
Sun's UV radiation. Of course, O3 makes up this layer.

As we all know, the Ozone Layer is disappearing, and there are massive
breaches through which UV is entering the Troposphere and reaching
us. We must all stop using substances that make their way to the
stratosphere and react with ozone. There are different ways wherein we
can protect our ozone layer even in small ways such as using solar
panels, reducing the use of ozone-depleting products, cutting in the use
of fossils fuel, planting more and more trees, encouraging the use of
public transport, purchasing air-conditioning and refrigeration
equipment that does not contain HCFCs.
Purchasing aerosols that do not include HCFCs or CFCs as propellants
and so on. Stopping the use of fossil fuels is the only way to stop global
warming. Oil, coal, and natural gas make up the majority of this. The
faster this can be done, the less of a problem there will be, albeit we're
already seeing the first signs of trouble. Plastic bottles, as we all know,
have a negative impact on our society.

To reduce global warming in our environment, we should utilize

reusable bottles instead of plastic bottles. Safeguard our environment
from global warming by discarding all plastic bottles and replacing
them with reusable ones. We should eliminate the usage of plastic
bottles in our environment to prevent the spread of methane and
carbon dioxide gas.
