1. What is an affidavit?

An affidavit is a type of verified statement or showing, or in other


words, it contains a verification, which means that it is made under oath on
penalty of perjury, and this serves as evidence for its veracity and is
required in court proceedings. Affidavits may be written in the first or third
person, depending on who drafted the document.

2. Give example of a simple affidavit of loss.


3. What is a Judicial Affidavit?
The judicial affidavit shall contain a sworn attestation at the end,
executed by the lawyer who supervised the examination of the witness that
says that he faithfully recorded or caused to be recorded the questions he
asked and the corresponding answers that the witness gave and neither he
nor any other person then present or assisting him or her coached the
witness regarding the latter's answers. A false attestation shall subject the
lawyer mentioned to disciplinary action, including disbarment.
