Directions:
List down activities that exemplify the nature and goals of Anthropology, Sociology and
Political Science.

1. Anthropology is digging at ancient or prehistoric sites seeking for clues about


Humanity as a whole.

2. Sociology is exploring the statistics about countless millions of people in every walk
of life, in every aspect of life, in every field, in every nation, in every institution, including
Fine Arts, Economics, Performing Arts, Ethics, Politics, Science, Art Criticism and
beyond.
3. Sociology is more than social statistics; although social statistics are crucial in our
modern analysis of social organizations and all social structures.

4. Anthropology is more than archeology (e.g. culture, linguistics, biology), and it seeks
similarities and differences of people globally, historically, and prehistorically.

5. Sociology is also qualitative yet the quantitative side illuminates the qualitative.

6. Political science is a focus on the narrow band of human activity that is Government,
Political Parties and Elections.

- I find the activity interesting and helpful because it helps us to improve our knowledge
and skills.

- Theoretical perspective is used to analyze and explain objects of social study, and
facilitate organizing sociological knowledge. Anthropology always describes human,
human behavior and human societies around the world. Sociology is the study of
human social relationships and institutions.

3. How do you relate this nature to your daily life?


- Nature contributes a lot in our society. It is also important in our daily lives. We survive
because nature gives us foods and water, oxygen, atmosphere etc. All of these are the
things which we always interact in our daily life. Without nature we cannot survive.

Political science is the study of politics and power from domestic, international, and
comparative perspectives. Anthropology is a study of human beings around the world
and sociology understand that the humans are social beings.

I learned that anthropology, sociology and political science are very important
to us and have different goals. It gives us idea and knowledge about its every goals and
nature. Political science is the study of politics and power from domestic, international,
and comparative perspectives. Anthropology is a study of human beings around the
world and sociology understand that the humans are social beings.

I realized that this lesson or topic should give importance because it helps us
in our daily life and also it gives more information and knowledge that we can use in the
future.

If given a chance, I would love to learn more about Sociology because I love
being able to challenge assumption and ask question and I want to learn about
systematic inequality and how to change it.

One of the situations happening in our barangay is that when we celebrate fiesta in which some
people have their different task to do. The Barangay officials establish games for the children;
Basketball tournament for the different ages of men and when the evening comes there are
some entertainment to watch. That’s why the Barangay officials implement some policies for the
safety securing peace and organize every moment of the event. The people are keep trying to
have a peaceful celebration. Families are get together as well as the school alumni home
coming. Everyone’s happy for this occasion. For this I say that unity and peace are functionally
work in this barangay.
