"The TVL Track can

help you find work
as soon as you
graduate from
high school."

Because of the abilities you've learned on the TVL Track in senior high, you can work
for a firm or work for yourself.

The TVL track is the ideal option if you don't want to go to college and just want to
make money to support yourself and your family after high school. It will allow you to
do so.

In contrast, if you really want to go to college — either right after high school or later
on - the TVL course still makes sense. You can earn money for college by using the
talents you've gained through the TVL Track.

The Department of Labor and Employment, or

DOLE, has a Sec. According to Rosalinda
Dimapilis-Baldoz, the Philippines' youth (ages 15-
24) have a high unemployment rate.

The youth, aged 15 to 24, account for over half of

the unemployed in the Philippines. Our youth

62% unemployment rate is still more than twice the

national rate, according to the April 2015 LFS.

The TVL Track in senior high school has the

potential to change that. A senior high school
graduate on the TVL Track is expected to have
AGED 15 TO 24 YEARS OLD. employable abilities, and the skills he or she will
learn in senior high are genuinely connected with
labor market demands. As previously stated, Sec.
Dimapilis-Baldoz,

"TVL Track senior

high school
graduates will be in
high demand."

"Affordable, hands-on, and the path to a decent career is shorter," says the TVL Track.

It is economical since it is offered at both public and private schools that are more accessible (i.e.
less expensive). Private schools that are easily accessible do not charge more than the DepEd
senior high voucher. For example, at WRI Colleges - the TVL Track Senior High – senior high school
students are not charged an additional tuition price.

It's hands-on because the TVL track teaches practical skills and includes industrial collaborations
that allow senior high students to obtain real-world experience.

And the road to a decent career is quicker since a TVL Track senior high graduate can effortlessly
transfer from school to the workplace here or overseas after learning employable skills.
