FROM THE PASTORS

Dear Church Family,
The first month of 2022, full of uncertainties, is over. As
we step into the second month, new issues and con-
cerns are added to the previous ones. This is so charac-
teristic of human life. We are always surrounded and
affected by diseases, failures, unfulfilled hopes and aspi-
rations. As a Christian, we must not let these circum-
stances push us into a regressive spiritual state manifest-
ed by gloom and doom. The only reason for us, not
yielding to such a state, is the assurance and promise of
God. No matter what hardships we might be going
through, let us always be mindful of our identity in
Christ. As daughters and sons of the creator God, we
need to keep trusting in His power and His will to re-
deem each one of us from our trials and tribulations.
Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:17 that our light and mo-
mentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory
that far outweighs them all.
Out of our discouragements, often it becomes difficult to
process the connection between our hardships and eter-
nal glory. The results of being obedient and prayerful are
sometimes not immediately experienced. The devotion
and worship may begin to look like a mere ritual and a so-
cial requirement. Paul makes it a point to clearly explain at
several places that it is only because of the grace and
strength of Jesus, that he is able to survive. When we en-
trust our cares and burdens to Jesus, He fills us with His
peace and comfort which is not available from anyone
else. Not only does He do that, He also gives wisdom and
strength to move on and accomplish all that the Lord
wants us to do. So, no matter how hard the circumstances
become, no matter how much pain and sickness may
hound you, never stop trusting and believing in the saving
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. He knows what you are go-
ing through, He will enable you to be resilient. He will also
heal and restore you. As you continue to read and follow
His Word, all of these wonderful promises become a reali-
ty. The Lord is working on renewing our entire being – not
just removing our sickness and hardships. So, let us be pa-
tient and keep trusting Him through the uncertainties of
life.
In His service,
Ashish
