CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
The Covid-19 Informer System is a web based system that is built using HTML & CSS .
It is a user friendly system and the Admin plays a vital role in this Covid-19 informer System.
The main purpose of Covid-19 Informer System is allow user to get information about
availability of vaccine ,information of government , private hospital for covid -patients
treatment and info about test for also provide information about quarantine centres.

1.1 MOTIVATION :-
We just want you to know that if you are out there and you are

being really hard on yourself right now for something that has happened …………

it’s normal. That is what is going to happen to you in life. No one get through

unscathed. We are all going to have a few scratches on us. Please be kind of your-

selves and stand up for yourself, Please.”

If you make a choice: continue living your life feeling muddled in this abyss of
Self-misunderstanding, or you find your identity independent of it. Draw your
Own box.
1.2 Problem Statement :-
 In this current situation we are unable to find the different centres for quarantine,
testing and vaccination. so we have created the website named COVID-19
INFORMER from this website you can easily traced the required centres.
 This website can easily be operate and one can easily reach the required centre
without wasting time and helps in approaching the information without going to
the centre and help in maintaining the social distance.
 Patients who are old and can’t walk long distance and can’t sand in a queue for
long time those patients will get the help from this website.
 How patients contact tracing technology works with website and how is it helping
citizens of Pune stay safe and alerted all the time
1.3 OBJECTIVES :-

 We are trying to give contactless service through this website.

 Being a students we are trying to contribute small help in this pandemic situation.
 We are hoping it will help lot of people to get the information without physically
being present at the required centre.
 This helps in maintaining social distancing.
 To spread information among people

1.4 Literature survey :-

 The users reiterated that this website is very useful and helpful finding covid centres
and checks the availability of beds and other necessary things.
 We can check for the covid quarantine centres as well
 It also gives information about test procedures of covid.
 It also provides information about vaccine and how to register for vaccination online

1.5 Scope and limitation :-

This website has very limited scope in future because
we all know one day at a time we all gonna defeat this covid 19 pandemic and we will all
settle normal life and that time we don’t need this website anymore but we can enhance this
website for other dieses and keep track of it.

CHAPTER II
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
2.1 Introduction to System Analysis:-

System analysis is the first and foremost step performed in developing

the software to solve a particular problem. In the analysis part, a software developer
examines the requirements. Carrying out preliminary investigation identifies these
requirements Analysis consists of two sub phases.

1] Planning

2] Requirement definition

During planning phase, cost estimates and work schedules will be planned. Requirement
definition is a specification that describes the processing environment, the required software
functions, performance constraints (size, speed, machine configuration) and exception
handling.

2.2 PROPOSED ANALYSIS:-

To analyze the proposed system, we employed the use case diagram. The use case
diagram in Figure 3 models the system at the interaction level. Use case provides an
efficient tool for representing the functionality of the system at the level of interaction
among actors and/or objects. Three categories of actors were recognized: officers
(medical/health personnel and volunteers), cases (also called patients), and guests.
CHAPTER III
REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS

3.1 Interface Requirements:

The user interface should be simple and easy to understand and use. Also be an interactive
interface.

DESIGN PROCESS
4.1 Entity Relationship Diagram:
-E-R Diagram is a graphical representation of entities and their relationship to each
other. It describes how data is related to each other. An entity is a piece of data an object or a
concept about which data is stored. A relationship is how the data is shared between entities.

In E-R Diagram there are 3 main components:

Symbol Name Description

An entity can be any

Entity object, place, person or
anything.

An Attribute describes a
Attribute property or
characteristics of an
entity.

A Relationship describes

CHAPTER VI
IMPLEMENTATION

6.1.1 FRONT END:-

The part of a website that the user interacts with directly is termed the front end.
It is also referred to as the ‘client side’ of the application. It includes everything that
users experience directly: text colours and styles, images, graphs and tables, buttons,
colours, and navigation menu. HTML, CSS, and are the languages used for Front End
development.

The structure, design, behaviour, and content of everything seen on browser

screens when websites, web applications, or mobile apps are opened up, is implemented
by front End developers. Responsiveness and performance are two main objectives of
the Front End. The developer must ensure that the site is responsive i.e. it appears
correctly on device of all sizes no part of the website should behave abnormally
irrespective of the size of the screen.

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. It is used to design the front-end
portion of web pages using a markup language. HTML is the combination of Hypertext
and Markup language. Hypertext defines the link between the web pages. The markup
language used to define the text documentation within the tag which defines the
structure of web pages.

6.1.2 USE OF HTML:-

HTML is short for Hypertext Markup Language. HTML is used to create
electronic documents (called pages) that are displayed of the  World Wide Web. Each page
contains a series of connections to other pages called hyperlinks. Every web page you see
on the Internet is written using one version of HTML code or another.

HTML code ensures the proper formatting of text and images for your Internet
browser. Without HTML, a browser would not know how to display text as elements or
load images or other elements. HTML also provides a basic structure of the page, upon
which Cascading Style Sheets are overlaid to change its appearance. One could think of
HTML as the bones (structure) of a web page, and CSS as its skin (appearance).

6.2.1 What is css :-

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing

the presentation  of a document written in a markup language such as HTML. CSS is a
cornerstone technology of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and JavaScript.

CSS is designed to enable the separation of presentation and content,

including layout, colours, and fonts. This separation can improve content accessibility, provide
more flexibility and control in the specification of presentation characteristics, enable
multiple web pages to share formatting by specifying the relevant CSS in a separate . css
file which reduces complexity and repetition in the structural content as well as enabling
the .css file to be cached to improve the page load speed between the pages that share the
file and its formatting.

6.2.2 Use:-
Before CSS, nearly all presentational attributes of HTML documents were contained within
the HTML markup. All font colours, background styles, element alignments, borders and
sizes had to be explicitly described, often repeatedly, within the HTML. CSS lets authors
move much of that information to another file, the style sheet, resulting in considerably
simpler HTML.

For example, headings ( h1  elements), sub-headings ( h2 ), sub-sub-headings ( h3 ), etc., are

defined structurally using HTML. In print and on the screen, choice
of font, size, colour and emphasis for these elements is presentational.

CHAPTER VII
TESTING

7.1 Types of Testing

7.2.1 System Testing:-

System Testing is an important stage in any system development life cycle. Testing is a
process of executing a program with the intention of finding errors. The importance of
software testing and its implications with respect to software quality cannot be
overemphasized. Software testing is a critical element of software quality assurance and
represents the ultimate review of specification, design and coding. A good test case is one
that has a high probability of finding a yet undiscovered error.

Testing is the set of activities that can be planned in advance and conducted
systematically. Different test conditions should be thoroughly checked and the bugs
detected should be fixed. The testing strategies formed by the user are performed to prove
that the software is free and clear from errors. To do this, there are many ways of testing
the system’s reliability, completeness and maintainability.

7.2.2 Unit Testing:

In the unit testing the analyst tests the program making up a system. The software units in a
system are the modules and routines that are assembled and integrated to perform a specific
function. In a large system, many modules on different levels are needed. 44 Unit testing can
be performed from the bottom up starting with the smallest and lowest level modules and

proceeding one at a time. For each module in a bottom-up testing, a short program executes
the module and provides the needed data.
7.2.3 Integration Testing:

Integration testing is a systematic technique for constructing the program structure

while conducting test to uncover errors associate with interfacing. Objectives are used
to take unit test modules and built program structure that has been directed by design.
The integration testing is performed for this Construction Management System when
all the modules where to make it a complete system. After integration the project works
successfully.

7.2.4 Validation Testing:

Validation testing can be defined in many ways, but a simple definition is that can
be reasonably expected by the customer. After validation test has been conducted, one
of two possible conditions exists.

• The functions or performance characteristics confirm to specification and are accepted.

• A deviation from specification is uncovered and a deficiency list is created. Proposed

system under consideration has been tested by using validation testing and found to be
working satisfactorily.

7.2.5 White Box Testing:-

White box testing, sometimes called glass-box testing is a test case design method

that uses the control structure of the procedural design to derive test cases. Using white box
testing methods, the software engineer can derive test cases that • Guarantee that all
independent paths with in a module have been exercised at least once. • Execute all loops
at their boundaries and within their operational bounds and • Exercise internal data
structure to assure their validity. “First add record then save it” else it should be saved.

7.2.6 Black Box Testing:

This method treats the coded module as a black box. The module runs with inputs
that are likely to cause errors. Then the output is checked to see if any error occurred.
This method cannot be used to test all errors, because some errors may depend on
the code or algorithm used to implement the module.
