Characters: Mother, father, daughter, brother, and the stranger

Setting: At the house

Expository: The play began by showing a mother cleaning the house; sometime later, a man
walked inside their home, and he considered himself the cleaning woman's husband.

Rising: The woman angrily asked the man his identity and his business in their house as she tried
to call the police; however, the man introduced himself as her new husband and sat on the couch,
followed by the wife. They talked about life and told each other how boring each other’s life is.
Sometime later, the so-called husband pulled out a bouquet and gave it to his so-called wife
which she rejoiced because she hadn’t received a compliment in 15 years. The husband sat on
the piano, and the wife followed, the man played and sang awfully, but the wife appreciated it;
after the event, the wife asked the man about his personal life, history, and background.
Moments later, the children of the mother showed up angrily, asking who’s the stranger. The two
children were not pleased about the man’s answer, which led to the man giving the children what
they wanted. He permitted the son to go to the baseball game and the daughter to go shopping.

Climax: When the siblings left the building, the wife and the husband were the only ones talking
which led to heated topics until the real husband returned, he angrily asked the two what they
were doing, and the stranger husband told the real that he was her new husband. The real
husband demanded that he would get his children, and then the children appeared.

Falling action: The father tried to convince his children to come with him. However, they did not
like coming with their father. The son requested a new dog from his father, and his biological
father insisted that he wanted to become their dog, and so be it. The daughter came out asking for
someone to drop her off at the mall and his son to go to the baseball match, the mother asked her
new husband to drop them off at the mall and baseball game, but he said he didn’t want
responsibilities just like when he’s with his first wife.

Denouement: Everyone ended up arguing; the mother and the new husband argued, the dog
barked loudly and, the sibling argued. The family was now very loud and obnoxious. As they
argued, the new husband sat on the couch and was blamed for whatever was happening.
