NOTICE

As you are aware, the COVID 19 pandemic has led to unprecedented and unanticipated
challenges requiring collective action and support from all. The Delhi Disaster
Management Authority (DDMA) has allowed the reopening of Universities/ Colleges in
the offline mode vide order No. F.60/DDMA/COVID-19/2021AWol.-1/518 dated
04.02.2022. In continuation of the aforesaid order, the following guidelines shall be
observed for the appropriate Covid-19 behaviour and to enable the administration to
open the USAR in hybrid/offline mode at the earliest:
1. The hybrid and online mode of teaching shall be continued in the coming week in view
of the fact that we have many students from the Outside-Delhi region who may find it
difficult to immediately be back on campus at such a short notice. Therefore, it is
rational to resume offline/ hybrid classes in USAR from the next week onwards/ or as
decided by the university authorities.
2. All authorities concerned shall ensure that proper social distancing amongst the
students is followed in the classrooms.
3. All persons in the Campus vicinity are directed to wear face masks and maintain
respiratory hygiene at all times.
4. Concerned authorities are also directed to regularly clean and disinfect frequently
touched surfaces.
5. Students, teachers, staff living in the containment zone shall not be allowed to come
to the University Campus.
6. Concerned authorities are advised to ensure the following:
a) Increased facility for cleaning and sanitisation in common areas.
b) Provisions for adequate hand soaps, washbasin and running water in all
washrooms.
c) Sufficient availability of thermal scanners, disinfectants and masks.

Note- Regarding the vaccination certificate and the consent form by the parents
1. The USAR teachers and Staff members are directed to email their respective fully
vaccinated certificates before joining the University Campus of East Delhi for the offline
conduction of classes.
2. The students are further directed to submit the following before reporting the USAR
for the offline classes:
 a) Complete Vaccination Certificate (Self Attested Copy)
b) Aadhar Card of the Student (Self Attested Copy)
c) Duly filled Consent Form (See Annexure attached) and signed by the parents.
3. All the students of USAR are instructed to upload the information about the documents
mentioned in point 2 using the following Google form by 11/02/2022 .

4. If the student or family member shows Covid-19 symptoms, the parents should
dissuade their wards from attending their classes.
