Q: How would you describe season 2?
JS Intense. I think that it’s pedal to the
metal; so many huge reveals and life
moments. It really gets in deep on all
levels. There were times where I was
like, “Wow, what? This is a lot,” even
just shooting it.

HH Things that were left open from
season 1 are answered. The funny part
is, some of those questions everybody
was dying to know are almost trivial
[now]. You’ll find out who’s in the
car and that’s, by itself, some drama.
There’s a lot more drama coming.
BE Ronnie, Dana Sue’s husband, is
back in town and she’s also dating
Jeremy. They’re so different and in her
life for different reasons. It’s a whole
season of unpacking all of that.
Q: How do you relate to Dana Sue?
BE I relate to her passion with how
much she wants to love and support
learn self-love and the myriad of ways
we can do that for ourselves.
Q: How have Maddie and Helen
evolved since the first season?
JS I think Maddie’s tougher. There are
a lot of uncertain moments, but she’s
willing to take a leap of faith. She’s
getting her footing and voice back with
[her ex] Bill and really working toward
forgiveness.
HH In season 1, Helen steps into the
water, but in season 2, she’s fully div-
ing in. She’s got quite a journey. It’s a
tough one at times, of course, but it’s
good to have good friends around you.
