Zoom Navigation Tips

Basic Navigation
Most of the navigation features for attendees are contained in a navigation bar at the bottom of
the screen.

1. The most important options are the ability to turn your audio and video on and off. These
buttons are on the left-hand side.
2. To view a list of all participants
3. The chat feature allows you to comment or ask questions to either the whole group or
individuals privately. This will open a running chatbox on the right side of your screen.
4. If you need to present and share your screen for all participants to see, click on the Share
Screen option.
5. Emoji reactions are available to show agreement or support within a meeting.
6. When you are ready to leave the meeting, click the Leave button in the lower right-hand
corner.
View Options
View options in Zoom are located in the upper right-hand corner. The Speaker View will display
the person speaking in a large window with other participants in thumbnails at the top. The
Gallery View will display up to 25 participants in thumbprint tiles at once.

Zoom Shortcuts
If you would like to use the Zoom shortcuts, here is a list of options:
 Mute or unmute audio: Alt + A
 Start or stop video: Alt + V
 Pause or resume screen sharing: Alt + S
 Pause or resume screen recording: Alt + P
 Switch camera: Alt + N
 Raise or lower hand: Alt + Y
