 K.CC.B5B- Given a number(s) from 1–20, count out that many objects.

 This website is used as a game to help kids understand the importance of math. It is a
visual activity using monsters. There are different games depending on the grade level
you choose. This online resource can be used as a filler for a math class or an at home
practice. It can also be used as something to give kids to do when there is down time.
The difficulty differs depending on the level of the child. When a child gets it wrong, a
real teacher will explain how to find the correct answer. A progress report can be sent
to whomever set up the account.

 When I researched the website, I practiced as a 1st grader. There are monsters that can
be won by playing the game correctly. To start, each monster has a different number of
eyes. The student will have to count the eyes and select the correct number. Once they
get the answer correct, they will get that monster to add to their collection. The game
continues to new levels that meet the needs of the student registered.

 As the teacher, I would use this website as a whole group by play the games with the
whole class and letting them work together to determine the correct answer. This way,
whether they get it wrong or not, I would be there to explain how we did or didn’t not
find our answer.
 As individual learning, I would have students play the levels during the down time
throughout the day. There can be kids who get their stuff done quick and need
something to do.
 Math that is needed before using this site is simple counting. The child can almost start
from the beginning without the help of prior knowledge.
 So many different activities can be done after the class has played on this website. They
can make posters explaining what they had learned while they played.
 This resource sends progress reports to the person who creates the account. Due to
this, the teacher can get each students report every time they finish using the resource.
The teacher can then use the scores to assess the child.
