Did not Peter warn you all that Paul's writings about the NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH/NEW
BODIES was hard to understand if you don't know the scriptures
Peter.

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of
him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in

Proof the New Heavens and Earth was actually the people.

Peter let it be known that a modest mind and meek quieted spirit is the understanding behind
what incorruption is all about. So the resurrection was about the change of one's nature from
worldly to spiritual NOT Super hero bodies . Proof

ALL of the above deal with MATTERS OF THE HEART.
From the UNREGENERATED heart proceeds LIES, MURDER, and ADULTERY.
A person LIES when they DESPISE the TRUTH.
Christ said if you hate your neighbor then you have already MURDERED him/her.
Lust for a married woman and you have sealed the deal of ADULTERY in your HEART
without even physically doing it. Btw, how many times did the act with her play out
in your head? Hmmm?
All 3 examples deal with an unrepentant heart.
So it's no wonder that Peter exhorted to due dilligence to be in peace and not with a
burned conscious.
A change of that wicked deceitful UNREGENERATED heart is exactly what is to be
addressed so that all of the promises of the new covenant will truly be seen in the
forms of love of the Father and your neighbor as seen in the fruits of the Spirit.
That evidence is proof positive of a new creation INDEED.
No need for a gamma radiation - like change.
Christ, Peter and Paul all explained the same thing.
In other words quit trying to put shiney 22s on and paint your vehicle instead of
addressing the tune-ups, filter changes and overall MOTOR(the HEART) maintenance
for it to operate as intended.
Matters of the heart brothers and sisters. Not Xmen and super soldier programs.
