ACTIVITY

The teacher presents a set of flowers which have a different


color and petals. Let the students count the set of flowers on
the A and B. The students will add the set of flowers.

2. ABSTRACTION

The teacher will discuss what is addend and sum. Addend


– a number which is added to another number Sum – The
total amount resulting from the addition of two numbers.
Based on the presentation.

Group 2 Play-Doh Addition Frames

The students will add the addends in the frame so they will
get the sum and then they will put the dough or clay in the
boxes.

Group 3 Peg and Hanger

The students will put the peg on the hanger based on the
addends and the students will count the pegs so they get
the sum.
