The 2022 L.A.B. Midwest Invite is a new meet that hopes to provide a great weekend of
competition in the brand new, state of the art, 119,000 sq ft facility, the Lincoln Athletic
Building, at Lincoln HS in Ypsilanti, MI. On top of offering unique opportunities, this
event is thankful to have awards sponsorship from New Balance & BSN Sports as well as
full coverage and live stream provided Milesplit.com & FloSports that will provide a
great athlete experience. Also, all event winners who hit NBIN qualifying standards will
received comped entries in the New Balance Indoor Nationals.

❖ Meet Information
➢ Facility Information
■ The Lincoln Athletic Building has a 300m Track 8 lanes on the
straightaway, 6 lanes on the oval
■ Please enter the building at the main concourse entrance ONLY, all other
entrances will be locked.
■ Restrooms are located in the locker rooms in the main concourse.
■ Everyone MUST be masked.
■ No Food on the turf
■ SPIKES ALLOWED BUT ONLY 1⁄4 INCH PYRAMID SPIKES.
■ NO TAPE ON TRACK - Chalk will be provided
■ LINCOLN ATHLETIC BUILDING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT
OR INJURY.
➢ Entry Fees/Ticket Information
■ Athletes Tickets - $25 per athlete (up to 4 events) - click here
■ Athletes from Day #1 must save their BIB’s in order to re-enter the facility
for Day #2
■ Coaches & Spectators - $15 per person, per day - click here
■ The ticket service will automatically close as soon as the capacity limit is
reached.
■ Coach and Spectator tickets MUST be purchased through GoFan.co
ONLY - there will be no coach/spectator/athlete ticket sales on
milesplit.com.
■ We charge an Entry Fee, not a competition fee.
■ We have a facility capacity based on the current State & County Covid
Guidelines. Registration will be all online, first come first serve for each
session. All athletes & coaches will be asked to register and purchase your
ticket online. A copy of the receipt will be needed to enter the facility.
There will be NO admission at the door to control our numbers and
operate within the guidelines - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

➢ Parking
■ Free parking is available in the facility lot and on campus. All overflow
parking can park at the school building lot(s).
■ All cars illegally parked will be towed at the owner’s expense.

➢ Athlete Check-In
■ After entering the main facility, athletes need to report to the registration
table for their BIB’s & Pins. All events will be clerked on site at the north
end of the facility.
➢ Implement Weigh-In
■ All competition implements will be weighed and inspected before
approval. Athletes should report to the north end of the facility and see
the official to get competition implements weighed and approved.
➢ Results
■ Live Results can be found at milesplit.live throughout the course of the
meet.
■ Complete Results will be emailed out and posted on mi.milesplit.com
➢ Awards
■ Medals to Top 3 Places in all events
■ Individual event winners who achieve NBIN qualifying standards will
received comped entries in the New Balance Indoor Nationals
■ Event winners will receive free event apparel from New Balance
■ 2nd & 3rd Place finishers in all events will receive a free shirt from BSN
Sports.

❖ COVID-19 Policies
➢ Athletes, Coaches & Spectators
■ All Athletes will be required to wear masks upon entering the
Lincoln Athletic Building. Masks may be removed when the
athlete is physically competing but should remain on at all
other times, this also includes between attempts of the field
events. Anyone caught deliberately disregarding this rule at any
point while in this facility, disqualified and asked to leave the
facility.
■ All individuals entering the facility must wear masks and stay 6 feet from
each other.

■ Additionally, patrons (i.e. non-athletes and athletes who are not currently
warming up, cooling down or competing) should remain socially
distanced and masked.

■ All individuals entering the facility must not be exhibiting principal

symptoms consistent with COVID, such as at least 1 of fever, uncontrolled
cough, or atypical new onset of shortness of breath, or at least 2 of the
following not explained by a known physical condition: loss of taste or
smell, muscle aches, sore throat, severe headache, diarrhea, vomiting, or
abdominal pain.
■ If food or drinks are consumed on site, individuals may remove masks
during the time of actively eating or drinking only. Ideally this is in an
area that is a bit more separate from other areas/competitions
