Reading Captions

Task 1

Base on the following pictures, pictures number one until number eight is a caption because it
describes about the picture also a quotes. Number nine is not caption because it is just a
picture whithout any sentences/ description about it.

Task 2

1. Some attitude problem such as selfish, stubborn, envy, can’t manage the time,
careless and those who refer to negative meaning. Attitude problem is about bad
behaviour that not only harms oneself but also people around them.

2. There are some personalities that are difficult to handle such as the controller and
dependent personality, the almost genius, the serious also the needy people. These
personality only make a person afraid to take a risk with them and stay in comfort
zone.

3. The caption is type of quote caption. Its talk about, someone who has personality that
difficult to handle doesn’t mean they has a problem attitude. Sometimes, people with
that personality can frighten who are new to them. Attitude can be changed, but
personality is just pure.

4. People isn’t aware if deforestation without reforestation will cause many natural
disasters and shorten the life of our earth.

5. Deforestation refers to the decrease in forest areas across the world that are lost for
other uses such as agricultural croplands, urbanization, or mining activities. Although
it has benefits for some human activities, cutting down trees without replanting them
will only bring bad luck to us in the future. So please educate ourselves about forest
from now for a better future.

6. My caption is about quotes or warning to people on earth how bad deforestation

without reforestation, while the quote in the caption is just headline/ short tittle.

7. For myself, friendship is about people who stay with you in joy and sorrow also those
who always support you. Friendship means everything because we can’t leave
without friends.

8. Friendship is like oxygen. When you don't have it, then you will feel ill, but if you
already have it, then you will feel alive.
 9. I think the quote in the caption based on the picture is about friendship which always
cheer up us and can make us laugh out loud while. When we are with them, we can
be ourselves.

10. The caption on the picture means that the teacher should not only impart knowledge
to the students but also facilitate them to be independent or solve problems by relying
on themselves. This man can look happy or not. What this man symbolizes is
intelligence.

11. There are no stupid students, there are only student who lack motivation to improve
themselves.

Task 3

1. Captions is a text that appears below an image. Caption is a brief that describes the
identifies of a picture, video, table or graph that can consist few word of description
or several sentences.
2. Captions is important to include so that the viewer or reader are not confused by what
is shown in the picture, video, table or graph.
3. People use caption to tell the viewer or reader about whats happening in the picture,
video, table or graph.
