are used to run interorganizational supply chains and electronic
markets.

• Management Information System(MIS)

Management Information Systems (MIS) involves the study of people, technology, and
organisations, as well as their interrelationships. MIS specialists assist businesses in getting
the most out of their investments in people, equipment, and business processes. MIS is a
people-oriented discipline with a focus on technology-enabled service.

• Decision Support System(DSS)

A decision support system (DSS) is a computerised software that helps an organisation or


business make decisions, make judgements, and plan courses of action. A DSS sifts through
and analyses enormous quantities of data, accumulating detailed information that may be
utilised to solve issues and make decisions.

• Enterprise Information System(EIS)

An Enterprise Information System (EIS) is any type of information system that integrates and
enhances the operations of enterprise business processes. This generally entails providing
high-quality service, handling with large amounts of data, and being capable of sustaining a
big and perhaps complicated organisation or company. An EIS must be usable by all
elements and levels of an organisation.
