My personal hero

We all have someone we admire in this life, and we want to be like them one day. Every

person has different opinions on what they have as a true hero for various reasons. My hero is

my dad, Mr. Davis, who is always there for my brothers and me whenever we need him. My dad

has blessed us with a good life, and I will always be thankful for what he has done for me.

Thinking of a hero to me is a person who is hardworking, strong, trustworthy, brave and

unselfish, and my dad has all the qualities. My dad was born and raised by two great parents who

gave him a good life that he always reciprocates in us. I have always admired his hard work and

braveness, especially when dealing with dangerous criminals. My dad has dealt with my

disturbing attitudes through his selfless heart and taught me a lot about life. Dad is always giving

me a hefty stack of teachings with many ideas that I will always embrace from him.

Through his teachings, I learned that it is essential for a person to stand on their own two

feet because as much as our parents give us everything in terms of love and support, they cannot

be doing other things, for instance, nailing a job interview. We have to be brave enough and

hardworking enough at some point and stand for ourselves and be strong even if we are not.

Finally, my dad always taught me how to love myself and be proud of who I am by making me

happy and not negatively affecting other people. He is my hero for more than just these few
reasons, and nothing will ever compare to how much he has contributed to my life; and if it is not

for him, I would not be the person I am today.
