Quintessential Society

We live today in a world of wars, chaos, tragedy and calamities where peace is the
rest we thirst to attain. If I were to dream a society today, I will only want three
things: Intellect, Change and Loving-kindness.

“To educate a man in mind and not in morals is to educate a menace to society.” -
Theodore Roosevelt

Humans are said to be the highest form of animals. It is always an awe how the
human brain works, by evidence, the world today where inventions and technologies
are gradually evolving. Thus in every God-given day we forget we are humans not
androids. The first objective of an ideal society is to improve our intellectual being. It
was said that humans are rational but with the weight of emotions they become the
opposite - irrational. Intellect is further emphasize because we tend to have made
forgotten we are, we must. To specifically deliberate, we are in control of our actions
therefore we are overt responsible of the consequences. Therefore a need of critical
thinking is rendered, aside from this we also consider if our decisions are ethical,
moral or not. We solve the problems of this society without much compensation of
the aftermath. So we start today by being intellectuals with a heart in order for a
society to grow in a much mature way of prospering. And also, by the stand, intellect
is not just bounded with academical features, but the mind has the power to control
our actions. One must keep imposing not just a food for the brain where knowledge
is the evidence. As stated by Theodore Roosevelt, it is not merely allowing someone
to obtain wisdom but one must be fed with morals, good manners and right conduct.
Through this, we don’t just facilitate change, rather we can embody change. Just like
seasons, people change but sometimes it’s not all for the goodness and the
righteousness. Out of pain and out of bad experiences we learn then we change, so I
guess it is clearly decoding of what is the state we are in today. We wronged change
when we do change for the worse, because change was meant to be a grasp of
chance where we have the every rights to do good, to be reasonable. It is always a
futile way when we do bad, what for? Why harm when you barely know the pain
beyond every substandard deeds. Lastly, Loving-kindness. A heart that is pure is a
heart that knows change, that is bounded to live in harmony and peace, a heart that
does not just listens but understands the need to have a society where everyone is
their comfort zone, a society with a loving kindness is a society that is rich in
morality.

In conclusion, we are still in the absence of wanting change in a perspective of

equality and equity, because a human nature is always tempted with earthly things.
Thus implies a weakened faith allows a weakened morality. However, whatever path
in life, choose to always be a pilgrim, and lead a society where you can be leaned on
in times of sorrows and chaos and be the change.
