History (background) of courts


A dynamic brand under the Unicomer group umbrella, Courts was first established in
England during the 1850s, founded in the region since 1959, Courts is the aribbean
largest furniture appliance and electrical retailer. The company was aquired by regal
forest holiday under the Unicomer group in December 2006.
Courts is well known throughout the caribbean and its name is synonymous with quality,
affordable, furniture and appliances, flexible credit options innovations marketing
promotions courts currently operates (93) ninety-three stores in (11) eleven caribbean
countries.
The company takes it social responsibility seriously and its committed to the
development of the people and communities that it serves. Over the years the company
has touched has touched the lives of thousands through sponsorship of education
sports and health.

Methodology
A questionnaire is a research instrument consisting of a series of questions
for the purpose of gathering information from respondent.

The researcher decided to use printed questionnaire because of its many


advantages.
Some of its advantages are:

 Fast result was provided in addition it was valid and reliable.

Conclusion
This Principle of Business School Based Assessment (project)was done to investigate the terms
of sale offered to customers by Courts Guyana Ltd. The researcher chose this topic because
Courts is a well-known organization that offers a number of term of sales to their customers
and are known for their outstanding items that are sold to consumers. So the researcher was
convinced to clarify the different terms of sale offered at Courts Guyana Ltd.

Limitation
The researcher faced some challenges throughout this project
Some of these challenges are:
The presentation of data was not clearly shown because the person that had to
be interviewed wasn’t answering the questions clearly.

The interviewed was delayed because the employees who had to answer the
questionnaire were busy.

Recommendation
The organization Courts Guyana Ltd should have improved on:
The organization should have more avaible seats for customers and business personnel
to sit when waiting, or shopping.

They should implement or offered more promotions so that customers are more
encouraged to buy at their outlet.
