Graduation Rites, Class 2021

PRELUDE:
 A pleasant afternoon to one and all. It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you all
to the graduation ceremony.

 This is a much awaited event in every student’s life, as it gives the returns to the
efforts put in by the students throughout their academic endeavor as they completed
school in the midst of a global pandemic. No doubt their life was disrupted. No doubt
there was added stress. No doubt there was uncertainty but despite these challenges,
they become stronger. They are now stronger than before as they have overcome the
unexpected and persevered.

 Today is a graduation, a passage, a completion, an inauguration. Ladies and

gentlemen, welcome to the PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION & TEACHING
PROFICIENCY (PEPT) Graduation Rites of the Asia College of Advance Studies in
Arts, Sciences & Technology, Inc.

A. PROCESSIONAL MARCH
Everybody is requested to please stand for the Processional March! As we welcome
the Professional Education & Teaching Proficiency (PEPT) Candidates for Graduation,
Class of 2021 escorted by their Marshals, Mr. Joel Dallarte and Mr. Angelo Lomo, .

And now, the marching of our Guest Speaker for this joyous event, Hon. Atty. Joma
Ho Vicario III accompanied by our beloved Chief Executive of Asia College, Dr. Ernesto
B. Aban. Ladies and gentlemen, let us all give them a thundering round of applause!

At this point, everyone is requested to stand to pay respect and honor to our flags.
Ladies and gentlemen, behold the entrance of colors.

Please remain standing and put our right hand over our heart for the singing of
National Anthem to be led by Mrs. Estela T. Cardeño.

C. PRESENTATION and CONFIRMATION OF GRADUATES
Talent and skills are the crops that are nurtured, groomed and given all possible
opportunities to grow and bloom. Graduation day is the celebration of the harvest of this
crop.

At this juncture, May I call on Dr. Caridad V. Dones – OIC, Prof. Ed. Department to
present the candidates for graduation, followed by the confirmation of graduates by, Dr.
Ernesto B. Aban – Asia College President/CEO.

Teaching Proficiency (PEPT) graduates, class 2021!

D. DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMAS
And now, to pay recognition to the ones who have done very well despite the
pandemic and to award our graduates who have been much perseverant all throughout
their trying times. The fruits of our long academic, physical, and spiritual labors will now
finally be earned.

To call the names of the graduates may I request our College Registrar, Mrs. Marivic
Aducon. For the imposition of hoods, let us call on the Vice President for Administration
Dr. Romeo H. Hena. To officiate the distribution of Academic Certificate, may we also
request our Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mrs. Felicitas S. Azanza, and the
awarding of medals to the graduates by Dr. Virginia E. Horcasitas – Dean of the College
of Education.
